Cecilia's POV

Honestly, I thought it was a joke. I thought he was trying to scare me or hurt my feelings in some way but my thoughts crashed when he pulled me, leading to the route of his chamber.

"Denver, please, don't do this." My lips trembled.

My cries and words left unanswered as he kept on dragging me.

Upon reaching the entrance to his chamber, Laura was standing there. I exhaled in relief because I knew she wouldn't let anything happen between us or maybe I was wrong?

Something I failed to note about Denver was that his determinism tends to accomplish whatever he wants.

"What are you doing, Denver?" Laura gritted her teeth in anger.

"What does it look like?" He seemed a little bit tipsy as his voice dropped constantly.

"Wake up, Denver! You can't mark her or even lay with her!" Laura screamed in anger.

"Scram! Don't block me." He growled and she shivered in shock.
