Chapter 2: chapter two
one week passed quickly like a breeze and it was time for school again .the next morning anna woke up to the sound of the alarm ,she stood up lazily and yawned as she walked into the bathroom after having her bathe she came out and wore her uniform she did her hair ,wore her shoe and when she was done preparing she took her backpack and left the room to have breakfast when she got downstairs food was already served she sat done quietly and ate the food she was sure that her mum would have left for work after the breakfast she went outside and got into the car as the driver drove off .after few minutes they got to the school anna got out and looked around with a faint smile on her face this was the only place she could have freedom and lots of fun memories. anna walked in slowly just as she got into the school someone called her name from behind
"anna" anna turned back and was shocked to see who she never wished to see
"what do you want Leon?"anna asked witha cold look
"tsk, it's good to see you after so long or don't you miss me" Leon asked
"why should i miss you...Leon if you don't have anything to say then I'LL take my leave" anna said and was about to walk out but Leon held her back
"anna,.. you're just too rude but as my future wife i would have to learn to cope with your character" he said and laughed out loudly.
"you're just too shameless ..i can't waste my time with someone you" anna said and walked. Leon laughed uncontrollably and after few minutes stooped his eyes got cold and he smiled sinisterly
"anna you're it will be good if you accept that truth fast" Leon said and walked out
anna rushed to the class she was not ready to encounter with someone like Leon who would anger her more when she got to the class t was only filled with few of her classmate since it's the first day of resumption everyone would have gone out to chat with their friends from other classes
"welcome anna "a girl said and anna smiled
"thanks" she replied and went back to her seat and sat on the chair she was so angry she did not know why her mum had betrothed her to someone like Leon was it a kind of punishment or what? just thinking of him made her blood boil and she hit the table so loud and everyone look at her
"sorry" anna said apologetically and they looked away just then Sia walked in
"you're here .. i have been looking for you around" Sia said with a bright smile and sat close to her
"hmm" anna simply replied
"what's wrong why the sour look?"sia asked
"nothing" anna sighed "where is Kayla ?"anna asked "she told me that she wanted to use the restroom "sia replied. anna brought her book to read.
"anna" SIA called out
"what" anna asked and looked up
"it's just the first day of resumption .. can't you drop the book aside let's do some other things" SIA said as she pushed the book aside. anna looked at her confused and dragged the book back
"you're saying nonsense" anna said and went back to her reading
"I'm sorry anna i would have to do this" SIA muttered to herself and dragged the book and ran out. anna was taken by surprise she did not expect SIA to do this. anna stood up and ran after her
"SIA give me back my book now" anna yelled
"no, no, no" SIA said and giggled. anna did not find it funny she ran out of the class looking for SIA just hen she sighted her just as she was about to run after anna tripped and almost fell but she felt strong arms around her waist anna opened her eyes slowly , it was Liam that caught her . Liam is her senior but also her friend they got to know each other cause they were always science project partner anna stood up quickly and adjusted her dress
"are you okay? "Liam asked
"yes thanks" anna said as she bent her head
"it's nice to see you again after so long "Liam said
"yes it's also nice to see you" anna replied as she raised her head up
"can we meet later at your leisure time in the libary "Liam asked
"sure ..see you later then" anna waved as she walked out.
" I'LL make sure to make you pay" anna said and walked out.
