Chapter 4: The Beginning Part 4
{Enemies Defeated:100/100}
{Level Complete. Advancing to the Next Level}
They all get transported to the next level. The Next Level is a burnt forest.
"This time it's a forest." Davis said.
{Objective: Defeat 50 Enemies}
"The Next Level huh? Now we have to defeat 50 of them now." Grey said.
"Walker, we exhausted our Mana from the previous battle and you lost an arm. We'll have to rest and recuperate." Adelbert said.
"You're right."
They use their tools to build a campsite. Later at night, Leo walks out of the tent and strolls around the forest.
(I've been useless this whole raid. I can't stand being weak. That's why Sherry can't tolerate me.)
Leo draws out his sword and starts swinging it.
(I promise I'm going to get stronger.)
Grey watches Leo from the tent.
'The Kid is determined.'
The next day, The Hunters were all geared up and ready for battle.
"Okay, looks like we're all set. Our objective now is to defeat 50 of them. As you can see, I lost my right hand so it will be hard for me to battle. I'll need everyone's cooperation."
The Demonic Beasts all hiding in the forest start to come out.
"We don't have that much power but we can do it."
The Demonic Beasts charge in for the hunters.
"Attack!!"
The Hunters charge in for the Demonic Beasts and they begin to clash. Davis manages to stab one but another sends him flying.
"Davis!!" Ava shouted.
The Demonic Beasts walk towards Leo and Leo gets in a stance. Leo swings at one but his sword snaps in half.
"Shit!"
The Demonic Beast swings at him and sends him crashing through the trees. Another Demonic Beast appears next to him and connects a hook sending him out of the forest.
"**Cough** It hurts..."
"Howard!!" Grey shouted.
Grey runs towards Leo and a Demonic Beast stands before him.
"What?"
The Beast grabs Grey's face and slams him to the ground causing cracks on the ground. Another Demonic Beast grabs Leo by the neck and tightens its grip.
(I can't breathe, I don't think I can last long.)
Elias fires off a blast at the Beasts holding both Grey and Leo and the Beasts lets go of them.
"Are you okay, Leo?" Elias asked.
"Y-Yeah..."
A Demonic Beast Jumps for both Leo and Elias.
"They sure are persistent." Elias said.
Elias fires off a blast which sends the Demonic Beast flying and Adelbert jumps for it and cuts it in half.
"We managed to kill one of them." Adelbert said.
"But more keep coming." Grey said.
"No matter how many come, we'll just keep taking them down." Adelbert said.
(Am I really just a burden?)
"Here they come!!" Grey shouted.
The Demonic Beasts charge in for the Hunters and they resume their clash. A Demonic Beast grabs Leo by his hoodie and flies away with him.
"Leo!!" Grey shouted.
"Why do they keep going for that brat?" Adelbert asked while running for the Beast.
"Gotta take out the weakest first." Davis said.
"I don't know what they plan to do with him but we gotta get him back."
They all chase the Demonic Beast holding Leo captive but the other Demonic beasts get in their way and they begin to clash.
The Demonic Beast holding Leo captive throws Leo straight to the ground and steps on him. The Demonic Beast speaks in Demon tongue,
"Weak Human, we eliminate you first."
The Demonic throws a hook but Leo manages to dodge which results in the ground splitting.
(Shit.)
Leo manages to slip away and he tries to run but the Demonic Beast grabs him and slams him to the ground. It picks Leo up and connects a hook to the guts.
**Cough**
The Beast lets go of Leo and connects a hook to the face sending Leo flying. Grey appears behind Leo and grabs him.
"We're retreating. Elias, Create a smokescreen."
"Roger."
Elias casts a spell which creates a smokescreen and they all manage to escape.
"Ava, attend to Leo's wounds."
"Tch, Roger."
Ava casts a spell and starts to heal Leo's wounds.

"We Only managed to take down two out of fifty monsters." Adelbert said.
"When will this hell end?" Elias asked.
"This isn't going well."
Ava is done healing Leo's wounds and now the hunters are walking out of the cave.
"Leo..."
"Ava...What is it?"
"I just wanted to let you know I don't hate you. I'm just trying to make you quit raids. As one of your close friends, it worries me that you keep getting yourself hurt."
"I used to raid because I was paying off my Dad's debts, looks like this will be my last raid."
"I don't want you to get yourself killed. You're my boyfriend's best friend meaning also my best friend. We don't want to lose you."
"I'll keep that in mind." Leo said with a gentle smile.
They come out of the cave and the Demonic Beasts are lying in wait for them on top of the trees.
"They were waiting for us. They knew we were coming." Grey said.
"Saves us the trouble of searching for them." Adelbert said.
The Demonic Beasts jump off the trees and charge in for the Hunters.
"Ava and I will give you a Mana boost to assist you. It can only last five minutes." Elias said.
"Plenty. Thank you."
Elias and Ava boost Adelbert and Grey's Mana to their max. They both charge in for the Demonic Beasts and begin to clash.
"Leo, Don't join the battle or you'll just hold us back." Davis said.
A Demonic Beast appears behind Leo.
"Wha --!"
The Demonic Beast throws a hook at Leo but Davis steps forward gets hit and is sent flying.
"Davis!!" Leo shouted.
The Demonic Beast slaps Leo away and walks towards Davis. Leo pulls out a dagger from his bag and jumps on the Demonic Beast's back. He stabs the Beast in the head multiple times, putting it down.
"I managed to Kill one!"

Leo runs towards Davis.
"Davis, Are you okay?"
'Saved by an F-Rank, How embarrassing.'
Davis slaps Leo's hand away and stands up on his own.
"Davis..."
Davis walks away from Leo. Grey and Adelbert keep taking out the Demonic Beasts while Elias is firing out spells taking out more.
'Even with Elias and Ava boosting my power, I don't think I can go further.' Grey said.
A Demonic Beast jumps for Grey but Adelbert slashes it in two.
"Get your head in the game, Walker." Adelbert said.
"Sorry."
{Enemies Defeated:49/50}
"It's just that Bear-like Demonic Beast remaining." Adelbert said.
"Yeah."
The Demonic Beast swings its arm and sends out a large shockwave.
"That's a Mid-Demon for ya."
Grey and Adelbert charge in for the Demonic Beast and the Beast swings a backhand sending out another shockwave but the two manage to block it.
Adelbert leaps for the Demonic Beast but the Beast grabs him and slams him on the ground. Grey appears behind it and cuts off its leg.
It drops to a knee and Adelbert stabs its eye. Grey and Adelbert swing at the same time and cut the Demonic Beast into two.

Leo and the Hunters get transported to the next level. The Next Level is a Castle under a red sky.
{Welcome to the Final Level of the Dungeon. Congratulations on making it this far}
"Looks like we've made it to the last level." Grey said.
"We can finally go home!" Ava shouted.
"Now it's a castle." Adelbert said.
"I have a bad feeling. We'll proceed with caution."
Inside the Dungeon, A Mysterious being sits on the throne with a large sword waiting for the Hunters.
