Chapter 7: Chapter 7: His Name
Four weeks pass, and it's as easy as breathing.
In the daytime, Joonghyuk goes to school, picks his little sister up on the way home, and makes dinner in the rather nice kitchen of their new apartment. With the new money rolling in from streams and other endeavors, he buys them fresh groceries with delicious, healthy ingredients twice a week.
"Your cooking got a lot better!" Yoo Mia chimes happily.
"It's the better ingredients."
"Nu-uh! You were always a good cook, but you go so fast now and it's so amazing, you're like a food ninja!" She swishes her arms around in an imitation of a fast-paced fight, donning a serious face.
'Too smart for a fourth grader.' Joonghyuk chuckles. He wouldn't have wished for it, but he's certainly not complaining about getting to see his sister grow up. He'll enjoy every moment of it.
"You're happier too," she tacks on.
He pauses in his stirring and turns to look at her. "Oh?"
"Yeah, must be you like your new job on the computer."
Joonghyuk nods. "I do."
"You make a lot of money. Is it illegal?"
Joonghyuk levels her a look. "Of course not."
He's pretty sure insider trading laws don't cover supernatural prior knowledge of which stocks saw an upswing this month….
At 10pm he puts his sister to bed and packs away their lunches for the next day.
At 11pm on the dot, he starts his streams.

'Subjects' is what his fans began calling themselves as a collective. Joonghyuk has no opinion on the matter, so long as they don't refer to his moderators as such. They are not beneath him.

Joonghyuk snickers and shakes his head.
Most of the harassment tends to die off after the first hour. It never stops completely, but in the second half DemonAngel usually takes over so Dokja can interact with the streamer.
In their private DMs Dokja messages:

Joonghyuk taps on his mouse. "It was Valentine's Day today. It makes sense I'd have some extra attention in the chat."

Joonghyuk hums. "Yesterday, technically. It's past midnight now. Which reminds me…." He stops and looks into his webcam. "I'm cancelling the next stream. I have plans."
[Sungoddess: A DATE?!]

[14n6fangirl: Our King can't go on dates! He needs to meet up with his fans instead!]

Chats flooded in. Joonghyuk ignores the chat and focuses on the gameplay. When the clock hit 2 am, he stopped streaming.

[SupremeKing's stream channel has gone silent.]
Joonghyuk opened the staff chat box. It's where KimDokja, DemonAngel and he chats about the stream channel.
[DemonAngel: Sheesh. It was out of hand today. King, we need more mods. ]
[KimDokja: Ugh. My fingertips hurts. ]
[SupremeKing: We'll get more mods when we find someone reliable.]
[KimDokja: My hands will get fractured by then.]
[DemonAngel: You're so harsh, king TvT]
[SupremeKing: Is Kim Dokja your real name?]
[KimDokja: I mean, ya?]
[SupremeKing: Hmm]
[SupremeKing: Not very wise to use your real name online.]
[KimDokja: Shuddup nothing else came to me ok? I was out of it that day.]

[DemonAngel: I'm throwing a party! I got to know the SupremeKing his highness's name! ]
