Chapter 35: Little training

With all the power of his level 6, Belialthorn punched Rota in the stomach, dogging her spear as he did so.

Rota grunted and created space from her opponent, she whirled her spear around and pointed it at Thorn, and then she activated her [Powerful Strikes].

Mana flooded her, doubling her natural body strength and she leaped forward, closing the distance between her and Thorn with ease. She brought her weapon down on the right side and went for a jab with her hand on the left, hoping to confuse him into taking a hit.

But Thorn's left hand caught her punch, twisting her hand painfully so that her spear thrust went wild.

"Damn!" Rota scowled. "You got me again. You are a caster why are you so good with hand-to-hand combat?"

Belialthorn smiled. "You have to learn what you can do to survive."
