Chapter 46: Black gate II

They were all stunned into silence.

What just happened? That black gate had just eaten Ben and it had happened in a blink. Rota pressed against Thorn, as far away from the gate as she could get.

"Ben! Ben!" Liam shouted and activated his skill, he tried to flash walk something dark pierced his neck, and he staggered like a drunk as if all his strength was suddenly taken away.

His hand went to his neck and came off with a black thorn. He slowly turned to Eldric. "What are you doing?" He demanded.

Eldric put down the hand that he used to flick the thorn and studied Liam and Noah calmly. "We don't know what's going on and until we do you all should not make unnecessary mistakes."

Liam gritted his teeth and his eyes darkened, he took one step toward the alchemist but Noah pulled him roughly. "But Ben." Liam said helplessly.
