Chapter 16: Forest Hunt Part - 2
The boar rushed towards that person at full speed. Seeing this, the loose cultivator smiled but did not choose to evade and just stood there. Just when the boar was only a few meters away from him, his body moved and he tried to step aside while attacking and aiming at the neck of the boar with his sword which is also its weakness.
However, just when he was going to step aside, he suddenly felt a danger coming from behind him. In panic, he completely forgot about the boar and immediately turned around and put the flat side of the sword in front his chest.
"Clank". Something stuck at the sword at a very fast speed and made a clank sound. The person felt the power behind the stone, his hand felt numb for a monemt and he was forced to take two step backward before stopping. He then heaved a sigh of relief.
He knew that although it was only a small stone, the power behind it was monstrous. If it had hit him, he would have definitely got injured.
However, this thought only appeared in his mind and the next moment again a panic expression appeared on his face. He immediately turned around and tried to counterattack but it was already too late. The boar was already in front of him and before he could even think anything, the boar attacked him with his head with all his strength.
The moment the person got hit by the boar, his whole body flew backward and hit a huge tree behind him.
The Rock Headed Boar is known for its strong strength and defence. At the same level of cultivation, no one can take its attack head on without getting injured.
When the loose cultivator got it, he was not even prepared. His conditions can be imagined.
His body flew backward like a ragged doll and only came to a stop after flying for several tens of metres and hitting a huge tree behind.
"Boom".
The moment his body hit the tree, a big explosion occurred and a loud voice echoed through the forest.
A huge wound appeared on his chest and blood gushed out in huge amount. He struggled to get up but he was already heavily injured and didn't had much strength left.
After the boar hit him, it did not stop and continue to charge towards him. Seeing this, the person gritted his teeth and took out a Talisman from his spatial pouch. Then after injecting a little bit Qi energy, he threw the Tailsman towards the boar.
The moment he threw the Tailsman, a huge fireball appeared in front the boar who was running towards him.
And before the boar could react, the fireball collided with it. In an instant it's huge body exploded and flew backward. After its body fell down, it lay on the ground motionless and continued to burn.
The Rock Headed Boar was dead.
The loose cultivator breathed a sigh of relief after seeing this. He then again struggled to get up but suddenly all the hair on his body stood up on end. And before he could react, he felt a cold sensation around his neck.
The next moment, a blood line appeared on his neck and his head fell to the ground. This whole time, his eyes were wide open with fear, anger, despair and unwillingness in them before finally closing. Then his body also fell down on the ground and lay motionless.
Before he could even think anything, the loose cultivator was dead.
From behind the tree, Zhou Fan come out without any expression on his face. He looked at the dead body of the cultivator and didn't felt any emotion or guilt.
From the starting after throwing the stone, Zhou Fan was waiting for an opportunity. He knew that the loose cultivator will definitely have some life saving cards on him. Thus he did not immediately attacked him and waited for a perfect moment.
And when the loose cultivator threw the Tailsman, Zhou Fan knew that the moment had come. He immediately took out his sword and attacked him without any hesitation.
After looking at his dead body for some time, Zhou Fan then bend down on his knees and picked up the spatial pouch of the person.
After that he used his blood stained sword to dig a big hole in the ground and buried the body of that loose cultivator. Of course before burying him, he did not forgot to check his body and luckily he found another storage bag that he had hidden inside his clothes.
After doing all this, he came in front of the boar body, put it in his spatial pouch and walked back to his cave.
After entering the cave, he immediately opened both the spatial pouch. From them Zhou Fan got a total of 300 Low-grade spirit stones, 1 High-level 1st Grade sword, 3 offensive type Fire attribute Talisman and 2 Mid-level 1st Grade Healing pill.
"Good. Looks like my luck is not bad." Seeing the loot he got, Zhou Fan was quite satisfied and a smile appeared on his face. He then put everything back in his spatial pouch and again left the cave to look for more prey.
At this time, somewhere in the forest, two people were fighting against each other. A little farther from them, a dead body of a 6th stage Qi Gathering Realm spirit beast was lying on the ground. It can be guessed that the two people were fighting for the ownership of the spirit beast body.
A little far from them, two figure were standing on a relatively hidden tree branch. They were wearing black colour dress which completely covered their bodies however, from their figure, it can be found out that the two figure were female. Both of them were wearing veils to cover their faces. But if those two person were to see them, they would never dare to have any malicious thoughts because both the women had a powerful aura surrounding their bodies.
