Chapter 8: JEALOUSY
I am so going to trouble Nora when we get home. She has the mind to tease me and she thinks that she can flirt with Rodney and I wouldn't notice, she must be joking
" what are you thinking about " Frederick asks as he noticed that I was lost in thoughts while staring at Nora and Rodney who were discussing about some book which was in Nora's hand " oh nothing, look at them so cute together " I responded " leave them aside, when are we going on our formal date " Frederick asks as he puts his hand on my shoulders " what formal date are you talking about " I asked him while removing his hands from my shoulder which he frowned upon
" you know a date where you don't run away after a confession " he said and I flew into a coughing fit
" easy drink some water " he said while giving me a bottle of water which was in his car " thanks " I said
" but don't drink ... " before Frederick could finish his statement I had already filled my mouth with water " from the mouth, I drank from that bottle not long ago so you're indirectly kissing me " splash "I spit the water out on his face
"oh my I am so sorry " I said through laughs because that was actually funny " here clean your face " I said handing him my handkerchief
"forget it I'll just do it " I said while cleaning his face with the handkerchief myself, some water drenched his hair so I had to use my hands to wipe it off his blonde hair was so soft to touch " here done " I looked at him only to find those pair of beautiful ocean blue eyes staring at me intently, those eyes that reminded me of the beach I snapped out of it and said " you know you could take a picture it'll last longer" I said to him
" I would try but I don't think I'll be able to save that picture, you would have broken my fingers you little tigress " he said to me
" maybe just one picture won't hurt " I said
" let's take a picture " I said and he brought out his phone and I shifted closer to him and made a very cute face and he snapped it before we heard a knock on the window which startled me and I turned my head and saw Nora standing there with her hands on her waist glaring at me I opened the car door and she said " you know if you guys are done playing love WE have a book club to attend " and I replied " playing love excuse you and wait a second what do you mean by WE you and who "
" I and Rodney of course I invited him to the book club, turns out that we have something in common " she said and Rodney smiled sheepishly " whatever just get in, but whose car are we going to take, mine or Frederick's " I asked " you take yours and I'll take mine " Frederick replied " so Nora you're coming with me " I said and Nora followed.
