Chapter 91: Ch 91: Separate incidents [pt1]

The pair finally reached the temple, and Meria breathed a sigh of relief.

He wanted to change out of his clothes and go back to his comfortable clothes, but that was not possible.

As soon as he stepped into the temple, Meria was dragged by a local guard who ran toward him in panic.

"S-Saintess, you need to come with me. Something big has happened, and we do not know what to do."

The guard had labored breath and did not know what to do with his hands. 

His pale face made Meria feel worried for him, but he could not care for the guard when an emergency occurred.

"The Saintess wants you to lead the way and show her what happened."

Eric took charge of the situation and decided to speak on Meria's behalf.

The guard looked thankful for getting a response, and he quickly led them toward one of the rooms.

A small crowd seemed to be gathered around the room, and they looked inside with their breaths in their throat.
