Chapter 7: Chapter 7

Throughout the time Null was home he spent most of his time painting and drawing. He made pictures of various things around him. He didn't paint what he felt Hannah had hoped, instead just continued painting what he saw, including the water purifier.

When Hannah had enough, she decided to send him to school. "I'm sending you to school," she said to him.

Null shrugged as she expected. "You are going to tomorrow," she said, Null simply nodded. "I'm taking you there," she said and he simply nodded again. This frustrated her again.

Fortunately, she had bought him a lot of school supplies and art supplies for him to take to school.

The next day...

Hannah dropped Null off at a nearby high school and guided him to the headmaster's office. Null stood blankly as Hannah and the headmaster spoke.

The headmaster looked at Null who had been standing since the beginning of the conversation and hadn't sat ever since. "Doesn't your leg hurt?" he asked.

Null shook no. "You can sit down, though," the headmaster said.

Null then sits next to Hannah. "He doesn't speak, huh?" the headmaster said looking at Hannah.

"Yes, he hasn't said a word since I've taken him in, so no he doesn't," Hannah said in reply.

"Okay, I'll make sure to report this to his homeroom teacher, when would you like him to start?"

"Today if possible."

"Of course."

"I promise to come pick you up by four, alright?" Hannah said to Null, smiling softly. She felt emotional about this. 'No, Hannah, you must remain strong. You want him to be normal and live in peace this can help him,' she thought.

"Okay, let's go to your classroom," the headmaster said.

Null followed him calmly. They got closer to a classroom and heard the students being noisy. When the headmaster entered they saw a teacher frowning at them.

They all became quiet when the principal entered. "Miss Gray," he said while giving the students a scolding look. "This is a new student, his name is Null, and will be a new student attending your class."

"Let him take the empty seat in the middle," Miss Grey said. She is a woman in her twenties with bright red hair, green eyes with freckles.

Null went to the empty seat in the middle of the class. Everyone watched as he walked some of them whispering as he sat down.

"Quick note, he's mute, so it is very unlikely for him to answer when you speak," the headmaster said.

Null looked straight into Miss Grey's eyes, then took out a notebook and a pen. "What is his name?" she asked.

"Null Wilson," the headmaster replies, then leaves. "Behave yourselves student and listen to your teacher," he said strictly.

Once the headmaster left. The students continued to make noise. Some girls and boys went to Null talking to him and handing them their numbers while being flirty. Null is a good-looking boy, so why wouldn't they?

He was clueless about their intentions and simply looked at the numbers. Miss Grey smacks the table angrily, stunning everyone. "Enough, you are giving the new student a bad impression of yourselves, you think he would want to date any of you?" she said.

"Like how no one would want to date you because of your anger issues?" a female student said.

Miss Grey became very angry, sparks began to appear next to her as she struggled to take in several breaths at a time.

She was on the verge of crying but held herself.

A V.P. who teaches in a school. By the looks of it, she can make explosions, but she can't control it properly if her emotions can make it spark slightly.

Null smacks the table hard, nearly breaking it. He got up and walked to Miss Grey's side. "What do you want to do?" the girl who had spoken early said mockingly.

Null says nothing and gives Miss Grey a note. 'Calm yourself before you destroy the school with your emotions, it is your anger that encourages them to continue.' The note said.

Once she read the note, Null crumbled up the paper and flicked it towards the student who had spoken. It just happens for the student to be sitting at the back. The paper pierces the wall next to her like a bullet.

He then wrote on the board. 'That is a warning, next time I won't miss.'

With that, he went back to his seat, took out his chair, and sat in front of the class. Miss Grey was stunned. What kind of student was brought to the school?

'Teach or are you going to be quiet as well?' Null wrote on a notebook and showed it to her.

"Ri-right!" Miss Grey stammered and began to teach.

Several spies were roaming around the streets. They released a creature to the streets. It was a seemingly normal cat. The people gave the cat a sample of Null's blood.

"Find him."

Null was drawing during lunch break. He sat next to Miss Grey, uncaring of the world around him.

His latest project drawing was of what would happen if Miss Grey's V.P. went out of control.

Miss Grey who was looking at his drawing frowns. "Why are you making that drawing?" she asked.

Null hands the picture to her. It was a beautiful drawing, to be honest.

He then began to write. 'Were you a soldier?'

"Yes," Miss Grey said.

Null nods in response. "Did you draw it for me to warn me of what my anger could cause?"

Null shook his head. He then wrote, 'Score-B?'

"Wow you are good, you guessed right, how can you tell?"

'The size of your sparks. You could blow up this school easily.'

"It is my dream to become a teacher. If I had known it was going to be like this I wouldn't have left the army," she said crying.

Null did nothing to comfort her. He just drew something else.

When she was done crying. She wipes her tears. "Did you talk to me to make me feel better?" she asked.

'No,' Null wrote in reply. 'Hannah would be upset if the school she sent me to, in hopes of being normal, blows up.'

"Is Hannah your mom?"

'Creator, my body doesn't contain any of her DNA, but she was involved in my creation.'

"What are you--"

The bell rang and students began returning to the classroom quietly and cautiously because of Null who wasn't paying any attention to them.

"Null it's time for the next teacher to come in go back to your seat," Miss Grey said as she got up.

Null nodded, carried his seat, and returned to where he was placed.

'He his eyes are too cold and emotionless,' Miss Grey thought as she left the class.
