Chapter 7: Death

It´s been 4 months since I started building my underground network across the majority of the Clover Kingdom, the only missing places where the capital and other places with strong people that could detect me. Since I spend most time of the day making tunnels, I have no been able to absorb as many souls as I had hoped but still enough to make myself captain level in pure magic power and all common attributes and a few rare ones like poison, book, string and eye. I had no luck yet in getting my hands on super rare ones like time, space, light and gravity but I had time and knew better then to underestimate common attributes. People like Yuno and Mereoleona trained their element to insane heights and I was planning to do the same, not now of course, I was planning to train at least one attribute to perfection every universe but for now I first to get them.
Last Week I finally succeeded in creating the one thing every weeb dreamed of, reincarnation or to be more precisely the reincarnation spell. It too me a while to figure out how to connect a soul back to a body and adjust it if the soul didn´t originally belong into this body. I finished it just in time, as magic knights have been coming awfully close to finding me lately but now that I could just reincarnate I can just let myself be found and killed so that I can be unnoticed again. Since I was planning to die anyway I decided that I would to something risky, I was going to assassinate a noble I had my eye on due to his space attribute and if I succeeded I would be able to move around and escape a lot faster.
I was currently inside the capital, using transparent magic to sneak into a mansion but I didn´t go far as I accidentally triggered an alarm I didn´t see. Hearing the guards, I immediately started running to where I felt the noble. I ran until I was under a window on the second floor, with a quick wind spell I flew through the window into what looked like a study. On the desk sat a boy my age, looking up at me from his book in fright, target found.
''Wha- Who are you?'' he asked me in fear but I just summoned a wind sword and started to run at him without saying a word.
''Wait, don´t hurt me, I can give you whatever you want, I'm the- '' he was interrupted as I chopped of his head. I quickly bound his soul to mine as I heard the guards approach. Not a second too late as I saw them run in with a middle-aged man in front, not even a second after seeing the dead body he screamed ''NO! MY SON! KILL HIM!!!''. The guards didn´t hesitate and immediately started firing spells at me, I put up some resistance before deciding it was time for me to die and let the spells hit my body.
There was just a small moment of pain before I felt my soul leave my body. I remember the feeling that came after, my soul was motionless and the universe continued moving without me. Not even a second after that realization I started to move my soul at the same speed the universe moved, even thought it was just a second, universes move really fast so I had somehow ended up the Heart Kingdom. Without much hesitation, I steered my soul to where I felt a large population of souls and ended up in a village on a mountain.
After looking around for a while, I found the perfect vessel for my reincarnation, a 12-year-old girl whose mother died from childbirth, a father who was the village ranger and most importantly, she had the world tree attribute. I didn´t care much for what gender I was , so without hesitation I flew straight into her body, pushed her soul out, anchored it to mine and cast the reincarnation spell through the grimoire in my soul.
That's how my first real death and reincarnation occurred, the first of infinite.
