Chapter 1: Chapter 1: A Party

Amidst the earsplitting alarm, I moved from my sleep, groaning. "Ugh, I hate that sound! Can someone please turn it off?" My complaint fell on deaf ears. Today was the day of our work celebration, and I knew we'd be partying late into the night.

Summoning the last remains of my energy, I turned off the alarm and reluctantly got out of bed. Each step down the stairs was heavy, my thoughts fixed on the upcoming party.

"Morning, Mom!" I greeted her, surprisingly early.

"You're up earlier than usual," she said, raising an eyebrow.

"There's a party tonight, so I'll be home late, maybe even past midnight," I explained, already looking forward to the fun.

"Don't get too drunk, okay!" My mom's warning followed me as I rushed through breakfast. "A little beer won't hurt, Mom! Thanks for breakfast. Bye!" With a quick kiss, I dashed out the door, excited for the night ahead.

As night fell, the party atmosphere surrounded us. "Cheers!" echoed in the air as laughter and clinking glasses filled the room. I lost track of how much I had to drink; the room seemed to spin with every passing moment. In the midst of the celebration, everything blurred, and I found myself intoxicated.

The night whirled by with dancing and laughter until goodbyes were exchanged. Soon, I was in a cab, heading home to recover from the night's excitement. The next morning greeted me with a pounding headache, my body sore from the previous night's partying.

Groaning, I dragged myself out of bed and stumbled into the bathroom. Splashing my face with ice-cold water provided some relief, but the hangover lingered. Returning to the room, I suddenly realized something was wrong. This wasn't my room. Confusion twisted into fear.

The surroundings were unfamiliar, and the view outside was foreign. Where was I? How had I ended up here? Fear shivered through me, urging me to find my phone and call for help. But my phone was missing, adding to my growing sense of dread. Summoning my courage, I decided to explore.

To my shock, I came face-to-face with my own reflection. The jolt of recognition mingled with fear, leaving me struggling to understand the unsettling reality of the situation.
