Chapter 29: AURENDOR'S DECISION (PART 3)

After a whole night of blithe and high spirits, Valeria and Poki opened a portal back to Brook Village and together with the King, the Generals and the Elders of the Village, they coordinated the mass transfer back to Brook Village. When they all appeared back in the Village, they were all astonished by the amount of restoration done on their City by Aqua and the Chosen ones. That was enough for them to have another party, to celebrate that their god had once again graced them.

"You all like parties this much?" Poki asked as she approached Tyra.

"Well, it's better if the people are in this mood, it seems the King is also in the mood too." Tyra replied as they looked at the King, who was battling against several men in mock fights, beating all of them. His face was flushed, as if he had drunk a bit too much.

"Oh and also, have you seen Valeria?" Poki asked.

"Oh yeah, there she is, inside that inn." Tyra replied as she pointed towards a certain inn. The doors were ajar and several people went in and out of it. Valeria was seated at a table, drinking some cold water. Three guys around her age were also seated at the same table as her and they were all trying to keep up a steady conversation with her. She looked somehow tired, but she had a smile on her face as she occasionally replied to their questions.

"Looks like she's in a fix.. Let's go help her," Tyra said.

The night sky, adorned with stars that gave it an ethereal appearance, suddenly turned into a bland color, everything came to a stop; the shouts of drunk men, the clashing of wooden swords and the laughs of the men and women in the area. The only two people who appeared to have color were Poki and Valeria. The two looked at each other, knowing well that they were being summoned. Two blue magic circles appeared, each above their head.

"It seems like we are being summoned." Poki said as she approached Valeria, who stood up from her seat.

"That's a relief.. These three didn't want to leave me." She said.

"But, Aqua's summons don't act like this.." Poki said.

"I wonder who is summoning us.. Let's be prepared though. It might be an enemy."

"Relax, you two." Kanazuma said as he appeared in front of them.

"I am an angel, and I have been sent by Lord Aurendor."

The two immediately bowed down upon hearing who the person was.

"This is Aurendor's message: You are to return to the mansion at once. Ready yourselves, for you are going to be summoned in Avalon soon. Make haste."

"Then, we shall immediately leave." The two said as they opened a portal.

"Wait, don't you both have someone to bid farewell?" Kanazuma asked as he placed his hand on Tyra's head.

"Huh, wait, what is happening?" Tyra asked as she moved her eyes around, confused at what was happening.

"Well, don't worry about it," Poki said as she hugged her together with Valeria.

"Does this mean... You're leaving?" Tyra asked

"Yes, we have been summoned. But we shall meet again in the near future." Valeria said.

"It's sad that you are both leaving already, but I shall wait till we meet again, Poki, Valeria."

AQUA'S MANSION

Aqua, Mitsuki and Miyuki were eating at the dining hall as they talked. Aqua had come to be quite a close person to them, that they both were now considering him as their older brother.

"Aurendor is summoning us soon?" Miyuki asked, following Aqua's statements.

"Yes. Everyone who fought in the war shall be summoned."

"But, isn't this rather sudden?" Mitsuki wondered.

"Yeah it was sudden, so sudden that not all of the Celestior members have been told yet. Plus, you Mitsuki will be required to remain after everything is said and done. You shall be left in Avalon to have a one on one private talk with him, and he was very, very serious about that." Aqua said.

The very thought of having a one on one talk with Aurendor sent chills down their spines. Aurendor rarely did one on one talks with the gods aside from Realos and Nozark, that enough shows that whatever they were going to speak about was not something petty, but something that determines the fate of Aurendor's creation.

"Damn, it must be about your form or something connected to it. What the hell did uou transform into.." Aqua said as he sighed.

"He's right. The only assumption that I can make is that the one on one talk will be about my new form. But why? Is it that dangerous or rather does he wish for me to keep my form a secret? Thanks to the being I talked to back then, I learnt that there are other entities of Aurendor's level and others even higher than that, with some having different forms that allow them to have special abilities and unparalleled power.. I wonder if my form might be the same as his, or maybe one of the others.. Anyway, I should probably hide my aura completely to avoid any sort of issues." Mitsuki thought.

"I don't know what you're contemplating about, but don't overthink it.. Just remain calm, and yes,maybe you can hide your aura," Aqua remarked, noticing that Mitsuki's aura had diminished.

"I never thought about it but.. These two... " Aqua thought as he looked at the two disturbing each other, just as how normal siblings would.

"They went into the room and casted a barrier around it, which means they are pretty much hiding something. When they speak to each other at times, their words seem to have a double meaning, as if they are conversing about something else entirely. Their eyes at times such as now, have this certain dark glow, thats seems to reflect the amount of secrets they have. Is that why Aquourus told me those words back then?" Aqua wondered as he remembered when Aquourus appeared back in his realm.

"Before I take my leave, let me tell you this: Do all you can to be close to those two , no matter what, always back them up. I know you were going to do so naturally because that's your habit, but heed my words and never hesitate to help them. They might become the ones to back you up in the future."

As all of them hosted different questions in their mind, a maid opened the door, ushering in Poki and Valeria.

"We're back! Did you mis-"

They both stopped speaking as they stared at Mitsuki, shock written on their faces.

"We leave you for some several hours, and you morph into a more handsome guy?? How the hell does that even happen?" Poki asked, her face blank. She was so shocked, that she couldn't even take her eyes off him. Valeria felt the same. A warm feeling was coursing through their veins the more they stared at him.

"Crap, this is bad.." they both thought as they turned to leave.

"U- um, where are you two going?"

"To shower!" They shouted as they ran off.

"Might you have an extra space for Mitsuki in the shower??" Miyuki shouted back as she laughed.

"I'll pinch you again." Mitsuki said in a stern voice.

"I humbly apologize, sir."

Avalon

The whole realm was now newly arranged. Aurendor's throne was at the highest level, then the thrones for the Celestior were arranged a step lower, forming a circular arc on both sides of Aurendor's throne. There were five thrones, placed behind Aurendor's throne in a straight line. Up above in the sky, several thrones for the other gods were floating.

"Well, this seems rather sudden..." Archius said as she appeared on one of the thrones behind Aurendor's throne.

"Have you completed what you were working on?" Archangel Michael asked as he appeared on the adjacent throne.

"No.. Mitsuki's realm is a very complex one, it will take some time to finish it. Where are the rest?" She asked.

"They are preparing themselves. The news probably reached them at this very moment we are speaking."

"I see, so what did I miss?"

"Mitsuki was able to tap into the fourth dimension, and he transcended into a higher form."

"What! No way... What form is he now?"

"We do not know.. But I think Lord Aurendor does.. He seemed to be thinking about something..." Michael said. Archius looked around, inspecting the place.

"What about that powerful aura I felt back then? There were two high density mana signatures I was sensing back when Mitsuki and the girls went to the village."

"One of them was Allon.. Mitsuki struck a nerve, so he decided to come in person."

"ALLON?!! Did Realos fight?"

"Nope, the one who fought him was Mitsuki or rather, an entity controlling Mitsuki. A lot has happened.."

"I see... So, this summon, what's it about?"

"Aurendor wishes to congratulate all those who fought in that war. He is also planning to compensate them, so that they can forget the mental struggle they faced during the onslaught of demons.. Oh and he said he was going to speak to Mitsuki privately..."

"Something is odd about this... Maybe.... Is he calling all of us here because of our auras? Calling all gods to one place will be noticed by the other beings, and they will be focused to try to know what Aurendor might be planning.... He's doing this to mask his own prescence when he leaves to talk to Mitsuki....." Archius thought.

"As expected of my genius Archius.. I trust you will remain quiet about this." She heard.

"He was reading my mind all this time....." She thought as a bead of sweat cascaded down her face.

At that very moment, two questions popped up in her mind.

"What has Mitsuki become? And mostly....What is Aurendor planning?"
