Chapter 31: AURENDOR'S DECISION (PART 5)
Mitsuki stared at the man walking towards him. He was dressed in a dark six-buttoned double-breasted tailcoat accompanied with black trousers, which blended well with his chocolate skin tone. His tailcoat had golden dragon etching on the right side, and an unfamiliar insignia was on the left. His eyes looked surreal: A mixture of gold and orange, blended together to form quite attractive, yet terrifying eyes. His dark hair was neatly tied into a ponytail. Everything about him seemed to proclaim that he was strong: A force not to be messed with. Mitsuki could not help but kneel down in the face of such power.
"Rise up, there is no need for you to do that. Mitsuki Ichiro." Herald said as three thrones appeared. As Herald sat down, Aurendor and Mitsuki also followed suit.
"Now then, we shall begin our meeting." Aurendor said as he gave Mitsuki a warning glance.
"Aurendor.. He's warning me to act in my best of manners.. Though I was never going to act in any other way in front of such a being..." Mitsuki thought.
"Now then, you do remember me, don't you?" Herald asked.
"Yes.. You are the one who helped me out back then. I am grateful for that." Mitsuki replied.
"You are aware that you have transcended, right?"
"Yes I am."
"Yes, you are now a celestial being. There are many forms that one can take once you become a celestial being, though it cannot be controlled or manipulated at all, it all depends with The Will. This also means that you could even have turned into a demon, though that only happens to beings that are transcended using pure curse energy. Do not get me wrong.. There are different types of demons, so if you were to absorb an enormous amount of cursed energy, you would become a demon, though you won't know which type. Different forms of course, have different power scaling, just like we have Celestial beings and Higher Celestial beings. Celestial beings can use celestial energy, while higher Celestial beings are graced with Void essence; A silver core that enables them to use Depuratus mana.."
"Void essence? Depuratus mana?? What is all thi-"
Mitsuki suddenly remembered what Miyuki had spoken about when he was in pain.
"Wait.. A silver core...."
"Yes Mitsuki, you do have one. You know what that means, don't you?" Aurendor asked.
"I- I am a HIGHER CELESTIAL BEING?!!!!" He exclaimed as he stood up. A simple look in the eye by Aurendor made Mitsuki to sit back down, composing himself.
"To be specific, the form you are is known as the Vermiculus Praenuntia, a form that is wanted by all celestial beings due to the amount of power it can hold.. If any other celestials hear about you, let's just say that you will be wanted by many celestials." Herald said. Mitsuki gulped as he thought about it.
"So basically, I am a form that many celestial beings would want to be.."
"Correction: Many Higher Celestial beings would want." Aurendor interrupted.
"Which means I am in big trouble, right?"
"Yes, and no." Herald said. Mitsuki looked at Herald, expecting him to continue explaining.
"What might you mean by no?" He finally asked after some brief silence.
"Basically, if you are to train for years on end, you will become a force so strong that no one can dare defy. Yes, some of the celestial beings who know about this form will try to abduct your body to inhabit it, but some cautious ones will also side with you. By siding with you, they will be safe under your protection in the future. Basically its a 'you protect me now, I protect you in the future' kind of situation.. Though for now, we will keep it a secret. The only ones who shall know are Aurendor, I Herald, You Mitsuki Ichiro, two of my acquaintances, and our Father." Herald said.
"Their Father?? Which means... The One who both Aurendor and Herald bow down to.... This has escalated a lot.." Mitsuki thought.
"Now then, Mitsuki Ichiro. I shall first say, congratulations on becoming a celestial being. Remember who you were, and do not let that title corrupt your mind. You shall also refrain from telling anyone the name of your form, even your own sister. Understood?"
"Yes.."
"Why is he speaking as if....." Mitsuki thought
"You are also to refrain from using any energy from the silver core, at all. If the core expands in size, you are to inform us. Now that I'm done saying that, I shall tell you what I have decided." Aurendor said as he stood up, walking away, looking up. The brief silence that came afterwards seemed to last forever.
"You shall start your adventure three days after you go back."
"Adventure?"
"Yes, so will all the rest, but yours will be a special one, one that we call The Pilgrimage of the Ascended. You shall first go for basic adventures in the guilds, then after that, Lord Herald shall commence the Pilgrimage of the Ascended."
Pilgrimage of the Ascended, a journey that higher Celestials go through in plane created for that purpose, where they gain power, knowledge and a deep connection with the Void.. An Ethereal journey that they all go through, each journey rare in its own way, as if the plane itself decides what path they should take. It is a painful journey; Physically and psychologically.
"But before all that, we also decided one other thing.." Aurendor said.
"I shall give you my marking when your core increases in size, then before you start the Pilgrimage, you shall receive the markings of the other two. That will help you just in case a celestial being discovers what you are. Now, we want to try somethings, in order to see how powerful your Orchestra of Chaos is as of now. Follow me."
As Mitsuki followed Herald, his mind was full of thoughts, so was Herald's.
"Aurendor chose quite a special person.. I'm glad I decided to teach him that skill.. Now, let's see how powerful this skill is." Herald thought as he took Mitsuki inside a place secluded by a barrier.
"Now, start. I believe it starts from Alpha.."
"Damn, Aurendor told him everything??" Mitsuki thought as he initiated the Alpha stage, showcasing what it can do.
"Good, now advance to beta stage, and try to mix it with the new energy that you can feel." Herald said as he cast another barrier around them.
"Focus... I should mix this Depuratus mana with my regular mana..." Mitsuki thought as he focused, mixing the two different energies. Suddenly, just like the previous time, a sharp pain suddenly struck his core. He knelt on one knee, trying to persevere through the pain. As he did so, the beta stage activated and blue glitches appeared all around him. The crown on top of his head started glowing an ethereal blue, and his eyes glowed blue. As Aurendor and Herald stared at him, the whole realm started shaking violently, as the blue glitches started deleting each and every part it touched. Regardless of that, Herald did not look disturbed at all, even though he was standing beside Mitsuki.
"You still need to work on the beta stage, it's not powerful enough to harm celestials.. Now, proceed to-"
Suddenly, Herald felt a chill in his hands and legs and his eyes started glowing fiercely.
"Stop." He said.
"Stop?" Aurendor wondered.
Mitsuki sat down, breathing heavily as his features retuned to normal.
"That.. was painful." He said.
"It should be, you aren't used to such potent energy." Aurendor said.
"Umm, Lord Herald, is there a problem?" Mitsuki asked.
"Get this, Mitsuki. Never ever, and I will repeat over and over... Do not dare try to use the gamma stage, understood?" Herald asked as he looked at Mitsuki, his eyes staring right through Mitsuki's soul.
"Y-yes."
"You shall only use it in very very dire situations, and you shall first inform Aurendor and I. You shall not use it on any planet, you are to use it in Realms and realms alone. Though as I said earlier, you should refrain from using it, unless we both give you permission."

AVALON
Archius and the rest listened to Aurendor's speech,as he gifted the summoned and all those who were in the fight with either weapons or skills. Aurendor talked of the adventure and how he had planned it out for the Summoned which made them excited. I mean, dungeons? Lairs? Monsters? Everyone wanted such an adventure.
"You were given the Avarice Necklace, that's amazing." Archius whispered to Mitsuki.
"Thanks,I wonder what it can do.." Mitsuki replied. His answers sounded short and blunt, as if he did not care much.
"Well, It seems like my hunch was correct. The two are using omnipresence to be at two places at the same time, so they are somewhere else." Archius said.
"Now then,as the final thing.." Aurendor said, "Come and stand next to me," He said as he pointed at Mitsuki. Mitsuki stood up and walked towards Aurendor, standing beside him.
"Poki and Valeria, do the same,"
After the three all stood beside Aurendor, Aurendor took a deep breath.
"I hope this plan works.."
