Chapter 9: First Words
*Yawn* 'Looks like today will be the same as yesterday, breas *ahem* breakfast, wetting myself, that maid Misty trying to make faces and then sleeping, let's see if there will be anything different before Spy arrives with the report.'

'Tch, you are getting shrewd day by day, so I can't do that'
[No host, you can't give them tasks like to breathe and eat for them to level up, only proper tasks count which don't involve your loopholes]
'Well, I will select the passive skill later. Let's just relax for now.'
As he thought so, nothing special happened that day except the levelling up, and the next day too. Soon, 10 days passed since he woke up and 20 days since the incident of Rime's invasion. During these 10 days he lived the life of a carefree infant, but he was too bored with the daily schedule during this time, imagining living like this till he 'learns' to crawl or walk made him omit any ideas of growing up like a normal child in this new world. His head felt like it would burst apart, and on the 11th day it almost became unbearable.
"Misty, as always take care of Jimmy and Atheus while I am away for lunch."
"I will do so madam Sara."
"Mhmm"
Sara then went towards the dining hall for the lunch as Misty began to narrate stories. These days, she had noticed that young Atheus only focused on her when she narrated stories and completely ignores her when she makes faces. So whenever she had to take care of them, she would make faces or sing a lullaby to Jimmy and narrate any story to Atheus. She sometimes felt that Atheus could understand her, but she wouldn't let her thoughts run wild again.
"So that's why young master, whenever I - huh!!?"
She paused midway when she saw Atheus looking at her with pity!!
'A 20 days old infant showing emotions?! No, that's impossible, I must be thinking things. But why is still master Atheus looking at me like he pities me?"
"Tch tch tch"
"HUUH??!!!!"
"Good night Misty"
"WW..WHA- *Bonk* UH?"
*Thump*
"Nice bonk Nasus, *ahem* I mean Spy. Job done?"
"Yes my Lord. The 10 barbarians are currently waiting in a nearby inn. They were hiding in a cave near the north-eastern shores, they were still dressed up in their kilt-clad dress so I gave them a cloak each from the Terra city shops."
"Umm, where is this Terra city?"
"The city where this mansion is situated is the Terra city, it's the capital city of Zimmerson Barony."
"Thanks for the info. So did any monetary problems arose? Ohh leave it, just give me your report."
"Yes my Lord. After I escaped from the mansion using the disguise kit, I directly headed to bring the barbarians, it took me a total of 4 days to bring them here. As soon as we got here, I sneaked them inside the Terra city at night and headed to the slums. We spent the night there and I headed out in disguise to steal some money. On my way out of the slums, I saw a merchant who was being kidnapped in a sack and being carried by some burly men inside the slums. Sensing and opportunity, I followed behind them and soon reached an empty thatch where they kept him. I knocked out those burly kidnappers and rescued that merchant. They had kidnapped him to force him to reveal his hidden stash of money, which he refused to. Anyways, with his help, I have already solved the immediate monetary problems."
'What a usual cliche, damsel, no a merchant in distress huh, continue'
"From him, I found out about this city being named Terra. It belongs to the Zimmerson Barony led by the Lord's father. It is on the northernmost part of the Icefall kingdom and is triangular in shape, seperated from the continent by Clamor baronet and Clamorman viscounty from the south, latter of which forms the base of the triangle connecting to the Icefall kingdom."
'Whoaa, so it's like shark fin and we are at the tip right?'
"Yes, my Lord. Our eastern part is surrounded by the ocean and western part by Drashor barony, further west of Drashor barony is the ocean. To the north are a long chain of mountain ranges which are surrounded by the ocean from their north, east and west."
'Hmm, any other towns inside our barony?'
"None at all, only town of Rime was associated with us. But there are a few villages on the outer regions of the western part."
'Spy, tell me, is that merchant trustable?'
"From what I noticed in the past few days, he is a small time merchant who hails from the Drashor barony. He isn't particularly wealthy but knows to pay for the favours, since he didn't backed down from paying for our staying and eating costs, even considering he doesn't knows much about us."
'Good, start by befriending him and help him establish his shop or whatever inside the Terra city. Keep your guard up in the meantime until it's clear that he is not hiding anything, find any weakness of his in case he betrays you. If not, just leave it as it is. We need a backer for us, even a small time merchant works since we don't have people working for us and you aren't merchant but mafia type.'
'Speaking of mafia, your next task is related to - *Ding*

'Change of plans, first take these barbarians quickly to the northern mountain ranges!!! We will establish our territory on the mountains. I will guide you with voice call once you are there and after that, leave the barbarians there and comeback to the Terra city. Your next immediate task is finding out if this small city has any kind of hidden organisation, their branches or underworld influence from other cities or not. I will give further details later will the voice call, go now before my mom comes, she might arrive anytime.'
"Your wish is my will!!"
*Swoosh*
Leaving a gust of wind behind in his wake, the Spy escaped through the door closing it behind him. After 4 minutes, Sara arrived and as soon as she opened the door, she was met with the sight of Misty lying on the floor.
"Misty!!!"
"Wake up!!"
"Uhh, lady Sara?"
"Yes, it's me Misty, what were you doing lying on the floor like that?"
"...." She thought in a daze and took her time processing what had occured, as soon she realised ""KYAAAAAAAA!!""
"Stop it Misty! What happened, why are you shouting like that?"
*stomp stomp stomp stomp*
"Madame Sara, What happened?"
"What happened Sara!? I and James heard someone's cry from the room."
Soon other servants and maids with the guards again came rushing to the room. Seeing the crowd increasing and murmurs starting amongst the servants, Sara spoke "It's nothing. When I entered the room, Misty was lying on the floor so I woke her up when she suddenly shouted. She must have had a nightmare."
Seeing this, everyone looked at Misty for explaination but she had no idea how to explain what she had experienced.
"M..madam Sara, a.. actually when I was playing with young master Jimmy and Atheus, someone hit behind my head and knocked me out!! Please see, it's still swollen!!"
Hearing her reply, murmurs started increasing and Sara immediately used her wooden magic to find out the swollen part and healed it.
"Sara, is there a wound on Misty?"
"Yes Dear, you are right, there was a wound but I have healed it. Wait!!"
Realising something, she rushed along with Martin to check on their sons nearby but found both of them awake. Breathing a sigh of relief, Martin turned around and ordered his butler
"James!!"
"Understood my Liege. Guards!! Block all the escape routes from the mansion and check up on all the servants present. I will check if anyone did anything out of their schedule or not, all servants and maids follow me."
'Shit, I didn't expect this situation, the security will become even tight for a few days now. Good thing that the voice call option was unlocked yesterday. Now I can only communicate with Spy with voice call and unless it's extremely necessary, I won't ask him to infiltrate the mansion.'
Everyone left the room behind James except Misty, Martin and Sara. Misty than spoke in a hoarse voice "I have something to tell you my Lady"
"Hmm? What happened Misty? Anything else happened?"
Hearing her, Martin also looked at Misty with a questioning gaze.
"Umm yes. I know you won't believe me but I think that young master Atheus can probably speak"
"..." "..." "..."
"Huhh?? What is your friend bullshiting Sara!?"
"Misty!! Have you lost your mind, do you even know what you are saying? How can a 20 days child speak!!?"
"N..no!! I am telling the truth my Lady!! I swear upon my life, I am not misleading you."
"Not one more word Misty!! You must have been hit hard on your head, so go and rest, I will take care of both kids."
"But lady.."
"No buts, and if you think that Atheus spoke, what did he say? Tell me."
"Th..that will be... "Mama" Mama. Yes, no it was not Ma-!!!!!"
Hearing a childish 'Mama', all three of them froze with goosebumps all over their body. They slowly turned around to see the young Atheus looking at them innocently, before he spoke again "Mama".
""KYAAAAAAAAA!!!!!""
"Huh! Huh!!??? WHAT!!!!"
*Thump*
The loud brown-eyed one cried out again, the purple eyed started sweating all over with goosebumps all over him, and the emerald eyed woman simply passed out and fell to the ground.

And the part where his eyes goes red is the eyes or skill our main character has too. Same Ultimate skill, so you can easily imagine during the fight scene how his eyes will look when the story progresses.
