Chapter 40: Chapter 40 Breakthrough
Xia Ning Chang dashed around Sky Tower wearing her tight, black clothes, displaying her wonderful figure. A slender waist, with long slim legs that made people lose themselves in their fantasies. With an uneasy feeling and a black veil covering her face, she rushed over to Yang Kai.
She had watched from her spot for a long time and felt really worried for Yang Kai. After thinking about it a lot, she decided to go over and help him. Usually, when someone was breaking through, they couldn't be bothered, but Xia Ning Chang could feel the chaotic battle happening inside Yang Kai! It was like a strong desire for a battle type of test.
Only a battle could ease him; only that could help him break free from that never-ending cycle.
That's why Xia Ning Chang went back to her home to change her clothes before going to him; otherwise, he might recognize her. After all, they had met face-to-face before.
Hurrying back, Yang Kai thought it was time to end it, and one last time he showed Xia Ning Chang that he was still suffering, and his movements seemed bigger than before.
Without any hesitation, Xia Ning Chang directly jumped on Yang Kai. A determined look was in her charming eyes, and her hand attacked.
Yang Kai knew she was trying to help by fighting so he could break through to the next level.
Since Xia Ning Chang had already decided to help him and didn't want to reveal herself and show any weaknesses.
That's why her first attack was filled with killing intent.
Yang Kai's strength was only at the ninth stage of a Tempered Body, but he could fight someone in the fifth realm of the initial element.
Xia Ning Chang didn't know and only used the strength that was around the second or third stage of the initial element.

When Xia Ning Chang heard those words, she became embarrassed! Clenching her teeth, she flew over while Qi gathered in the palm of her hand, covered with the sky, directed towards Yang Kai's head.
She became angry. She tried her best not to be discovered, but still.
Yang Kai was surprised and didn't know why she suddenly became angry. He released all of his strength because he knew he needed to stop her, or she might really kill him. He matched up against Xia Ning Chang.
Yang Kai and Xia Ning Chang were tightly locked in battle, but it was clear that it was unfavorable for Yang Kai. His style of combat was bursts of heavy strength, which couldn't match up with Xia Ning Chang's nimbleness.
If he attacked twice, Xia Ning Chang would attack three times, coupled with Xia Ning Chang's agile movements that allowed her to move in all directions, it was like a cat playing tricks and runaway.
Yang Kai was beaten all over, making him furious! He could sense that Xia Ning Chang's strength was higher than his by quite a bit.
"doesn't she want to help me? Why did she try to kill me?" Yang Kai asked in his mind and tried to dodge Xia Ning Chang's attacks.
"Host, what do you think a girl will do if she spends an hour dressing, asks you how she looks, and you say she doesn't look good?" Sweet Potato said.
"But I don't," Yang thought, stopping midway and remembering, "I just exposed her disguise at the start, damn."
Xia Ning Chang, who was seething with rage, suddenly smiled. She thought, 'Who told you to spout nonsense? You deserve to be beaten black and blue!'

In just a few moments, the aches and pains that Yang Kai had received awakened his blood's excitement.
Xia Ning Chang repeatedly showed signs of shock because she sensed that Yang Kai's Qi was getting bigger and bigger as his strength gradually started to break through from the tempered body stage to arrive at the initial element stage.
Yang Kai thought it was time to end their play. He made a breakthrough, and Xia Ning Chang tested his strength in the future, she would definitely ask for his help.
Just as Yang Kai and Xia Ning Chang's hands crossed again, neither of them retreated. He firmly pulled her into his embrace and tore off her veil.
Up until that moment, Xia Ning Chang had only just recovered and wasn't willing to lose. Firstly, she wanted to increase the pressure on Yang Kai, and secondly, she was a bit embarrassed. After all, last time's meeting was far too awkward, so how could she possibly take off her veil?
