Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Character Creation

The next day after lunch, I walk over to the virtual cabin. Checking the time I start up the game right away. Spending some time looking at the different species I have notepad open and write down the different species and what traits from each species would be most useful for each production based class. After doing so I look over it and send it to Bob.

Some of the bloodlines I choose make sense to most, like phoenix, azure dragon, or thunderbird and poison dragon. For things like regeneration, half stamina/mana cost, paralysis immunity, and poison immunity. However others may not understand the choice of the Angel, Darkness demon, Mystamel, or Ilumina, since I am not choosing some of their better traits, but abilities to stop myself from losing eyesight which could have been gained from lesser beings.

I grabbed the bloodlines of high elf, black tortoise, gale horse, and white tiger. Those just grant more towards the stats of agility, defense, speed, and attack respectfully. So not all that interesting to go over.

Those who have paid attention to the title I've been given as the Princess of Carnage should be able to understand why I would choose Bloodrooted-Vampire, Blood Fiend, Berserker, Civalaniel, and Irolarm. For the racial abilities, heal from others blood touching me, blood control, rage, Feathered wings; now these feathered wings have a great benefit of that I can shoot and control them from afar, and the final ability being retractable metal spikes.

One can choose up to 20 different bloodlines and which abilities from each bloodline. The fewer bloodlines one has the more from each bloodline they can choose from. One can choose to be a pure breed of that bloodline and be given double the strength of all the abilities from that bloodline. Which is compared to those in the game that have that bloodline. But I doubt many would choose to do such a thing with thousands of choices in front of them.

You may wonder why I am not too worried about how long it took me to go through every single bloodline and trait. That is because the developers were gracious enough to allow people to log in three hours before release to make their characters. In their message it stated, "Due to the sheer amount of bloodlines and traits we will give everyone the ability to spend the three hours before launch creating their characters. You will be grateful for this."

I will leave the last three racial abilities I choose to be a mystery till they become relevant as they are a bit strange for me to choose if one goes based off of my title alone. However, they all have their benefits. But it's amazing that I can customize it so much to my playstyle specifically. Which is so useful. As I do tend to take a lot of damage and forget all about healing.

After that whole selection of bloodlines and their traits I head into the next step. I create my character to be the same bodily proportions as I am. I set the color of the hair to red wine and put it up into a ponytail that reaches my waist. I add massive blood red feathered wings. Afterwards I am asked to name the species, which surprises me. Thinking for a while I chose the name for the species Carnage Incarnate. I am then asked if I want to make it public or keep it private.

I keep it private. Even though one could get it if they click on the random button that is unlikely to happen. I just don't want it widely known what all I chose. Regardless of which I chose, eventually some NPC's known as Celestials can be born as this race. Which is interesting as far as we knew only players were known as Celestials. Which raises the question how do celestials tell players apart from other Celestials. And what exactly are Celestials?

Looking over at the clock I sigh. Still an hour before launch. I stand up and walk over to my work station. Taking out a stop watch and several different versions of the nutrients that are publicly available I start to work. Nutrients available to the public in mass come in several variations. From low to high level.

I used to be able to get my hands on the super nutrients. But since The Frozen Queen died, I am no longer able to. But there are massive differences between how good each level of nutrients provide to someone. I heard rumors of a level above super that was being worked on. However information of that level is not public knowledge at all.

With my limited time I decide to only break down what is actually in each nutrient container. What would shock people is that when I was known as the Princess of Carnage ten years ago I was still a teenager.

However besides being devoted to my physical upkeep, I also studied heavily. I have even become a chemist and a gemologist since then. I've spent quite some time getting the equipment to have a high level home lab of my own. I consider being a gemologist as more of a hobby than an actual career.

Finding out the chemicals, nutrients, proteins, and vitamins in each one I write it down in a notebook. As one would expect, the concentration of each thing is greater with the higher level ones. But that doesn't seem to be what makes the higher level nutrients work better.

I come across several things I haven't read about anywhere. Which makes me curious. But before I can delve deeper into them my alarm goes off. I go back to the gaming cabin. Logging back in my character is in front of me. Naming it Espiana, I enter the game properly.
