Chapter 59: Riding With Xin Cheng

Xiang Ling took one last look around her bedchamber to ensure that she wasn't leaving anything behind, before she threw her packed stuff inside her space and walked out of the chamber, heading toward the entrance.

The refugees had left for their village the previous day along with Earth Immortal and the disciples of the Jingsheng Sect. Since the disciples of the most powerful Sect of the Mortal Realm were there along with the Earth Immortal, who was acting as an Elder of the Sect, Xiang Ling and others knew that the villages' security was in the right hands.

Right before stepping out of the manor, she turned around and looked at the house where she had been staying for the past ten or so days. She wasn't one to easily get attached but she couldn't help but feel slightly sad for leaving so soon. Yet, she needed to return to the City and start mending the chaotic life of the previous owner of her body.
