Chapter 26: Crown Prince and First Apprentice
"Snip-snip-snip-snip..." The sound of scissors echoed through the garden and deep into the forest. The front door of the house was open and every member of the royal family was outside watching the sound of the scissors, each with a sad expression on his or her face that said as much as anything that they did not want to leave. When Lawrence joined them, everyone turned and headed for the exit.
As the large group left, Mary stepped forward to close the gates and as the gates began to close, the sound of the scissors suddenly stopped and a voice rose from within the garden:
"Remember, sometimes those wonderful creatures you see every day may be the ones who will give you the biggest blow. Always be on your guard....Especially you, the crown prince."
At the sound of that voice, every member of the group except Lawrence turned and bowed prostrate to Admon. Then they each moved on and the group disappeared into the forest.
"Are you sure you don't want to go with your family, princess?" Admon suddenly turned round to see a sobbing Petunia standing before him. It was obvious that she was still affected by what had happened only a few hours before.

"WHAT?!" Em suddenly shouted in great surprise and seriously tried to understand what her daughter was saying. What she was hearing was unbelievable to her.
"I'm staying here, I spoke to Master Admon." Petunia looked at her family members with a serious expression on her face. Even the imperial guards were stunned, no one had expected the crown princess to take such a decision.
"But sister.... if you go, your title....." Florent was looking at his sister with great sadness and disappointment, looking as if he was going to cry at any moment, which made everyone in the room very sad.
"Yes, I am handing over my title. My baby brother, even if my dantian has recovered, my heart has not. I do not have the nobility and goodness to claim a place where I have seen betrayal, I wish I did so that all this burden would not fall on you, but I..." When Petunia said that, she felt her chest tighten.
The reason why Petunia and Florent had fallen into such emptiness and danger was the treacherous ambush they had experienced. "Still, what would I do without you?" The tears falling from Florent's eyes seemed to reveal a mournful melody as they hit the wood on the floor. His sister, who had been with him every moment since his birth, who had done his hair with her own hands, who had fed him with her own hands, who had done so much more, could no longer be with him. How could she be happy?
"Florent..." Petunia couldn't do anything except say her little brother's name, and there was nothing else to do, after all, she had already taken the advice Vered had given her and begged Admon. Of course, what she had begged for was different, but it was still different from what she had expected, and she had got an even better opportunity than before.
In short, many things had changed.
"Good!" Florent suddenly wiped away his tears and then shouted, his gaze became incredibly serious and even Nalin, a space tiger, was surprised by this change. No one knew such a reaction.
"I swear to you that I will find those who did this to us, whoever betrayed us, I will make them suffer a hundred times more." Florent added and Petunia's heart suddenly burst with love, her little brother had grown up and she could witness it with her own eyes.
Not only she but also Haldi, Em and Lin were surprised, no one expected to see Florent, who was always full of silly joy, like this. It was certainly an incredible change, but it was a change that had given birth to a true Emperor. The Fire Empire had to prepare for a great change.
"How nice, I'm sure you can do it." When Petunia said that, things had calmed down and then Mery asked the question that everyone had been waiting for:
"And why did the master accept you?"

"I'm sure I'll stay here with you, my master." Petunia fell to her knees with tears falling from her eyes and then uttered these words.
"Well done, .....my first apprentice."
"I will be better, my master." Petunia stood up and then went to Mery. At the end of a long conversation with Admon, Admon had announced that he would take her as his apprentice, Petunia had originally intended to be a servant, but what had happened had changed her fate drastically.
Being a disciple of a person like Admon, who could heal even a dantian and create holy beings, would definitely be perfect for Petunia, so of course she accepted the offer immediately.
It would be good even for Admon's mentality, he was sure, he hadn't wanted to take Petunia as a student in the first place. The system had suddenly given him a task that would last a long time, and that was why he had agreed to make Petunia his student.
