Chapter 52: Why Do I Want Strength?

The large body of the flame boar swayed to the side, and it fell, dead.

Finn and his group frowned. For them, this meant a new strong enemy appeared.

"Cough!" The owner of the flame boar coughed a mouthful of blood and fell on one knee. He suffered the backlash of the connection between him and his beast suddenly severing. His mental energy took a hit, so he needed time to come to himself. "Bastards! I'll kill you!" He screamed.

All the battles halted for a second. Everyone was comprehending the situation.

"That ice..." Neo's eyes widened in realization. "Could it be..." He turned in the direction where the ice needle came from.

From the distance, two figures rushed toward where Neo was.

In just a second, Alden and Chloe arrived at Neo.

"Owen," Alden shouted worriedly and rushed at Owen.

He bent down before him to check on him. "Are you okay?"

Owen nodded, still shaking in fear.
