Chapter 2: The Prestigious School
It was sunny season in Avelor, A place where everything seemed to be bright and cheerful as the flowers and birds begin to dance with the wind.
The people there love their peaceful life that was ruled by a Kind and wise Monarch.
*Ding Dong* the clock tower began to strike as it was time for the students and the workers to go to their designated location.
A girl with blonde hair sighed and said...
"Haaaa....why god?whyyy? School begins so early in the morning and it's so tiring...".
With a sad look Shane throwed a fit because school was about to begin again. It was just their break from the Academy a couple of months ago, but as if it was just yesterday that it happened.
" Don't throw a fit so early in the morning Shane..". The girl with black hair said to her friend with a sleepy tone. Kian Watson a girl that stayed up last night reading a book of certain subjects.
" Ehhhh...It's just, you know so...ughh..going to school sucks. But it's not that bad when you're by my side ". She said teasingly to her friend who was sleepy yet smiled gently at her.
*Yawn*... " You're not the type of person to say that and suddenly copies and ask me to help them with their homework right?" Kian said while having a slight smirk on her face as she yawned off to her class.
" I would not ". She answered.
Shane blushed slightly at her friend's teasing remark but smiled back at her softly before going to their class.
Kian and Shane wore red and white uniform and a badge with a symbol of a Red Rose, Which in particular shows that they go to Vermillion Academy.
Vermillion Academy a prestigious all girls academy that was built for all girls to have knowledge about the world.
The Academy was almost big like a castle and has a garden filled with flowers and pink trees that are seen at the entrance called cherry blossom, Rumor has it that if you confess your love to someone under the tree it will come true. But it was just baseless rumor roaming around where ever there's a cherry blossom tree.
There are a few male professors in the Academy because of the hostility the headmistress has for men, But still gives the male professors the thanks and respect that they deserve.
The Academy gives the students teachings that should be suited for them to know. And see if they have the capabilities of certain subjects to thoroughly guide them in the right direction.
For example: Those who were good at certain sports or has a good academic intellect will be guided so that they could improve theirselves.
For it was the Academy's duty to guide them and make them bloom into society as a noble and beautiful flower.
Two of these noble flowers were Shane Collins and Kian Watson.
Flower petals blew past them every time they enter the school and flowers begin to sprout around them when they come into contact with other students or show their talents. The two were called the Sun and Moon flowers of Vermillion Academy.
They were quite famous because of their good looks and personalities, The students thought that they were a couple once, because of how they show their affection to each other.
The two wanted to laugh because of what they had heard from the students. Shane wanted to laugh so hard when she heard it, but kept her image and chuckled cutely, while
Kian shrugged it off with a cool smile while emitting a cold yet comfortable atmosphere and told them that they were just friends, Even after the confrontation the students had between the two they still continued to ship them.
The class was about to start when the teacher suddenly said that there was going to be a transferr student tomorrow.
" There would be a new student coming tomorrow, I hope you all will be at your best behavior " said the teacher with a stern yet warm tone.
" And also–".
The teacher shushed at the students who were chatting on what the new student would be like, before finishing her sentence.
"Ms. Kian Watson."
Kian stood up when her name was called
"...Yes, Professor? ".
The Professor looked at her with a proud expression with a concernful gaze.
Kian did not understand why the Professor had this expression. She was confused but didn't pry into it that much.
" ...Ahem..The headmistress is requesting for your presence in her office before going to your residence, she said that she has a favor to ask of you."
Kian flinched when she heard that the Headmistress was requesting for her.
"..Ahh...I see." She mumbled to herself with a gloomy expression.
The whole room was shocked at the news of their classmate being requested by the headmistress. The room suddenly fell into a chatty atmosphere. On which Kian did not like.
Shane noticed her expression and touched Kian's hand and smiled at her, a smile that says it will be fine.
And whispered " If you don't want to go just say so, I'll accompany you and I will personally tell the professors, Or... if you need the feel to go I'll go with you, even if I'm just standing outside the door."
Kian to her friend who whispered those brave words to her, gave her friend a faint smile while holding her hand tightly.
Then she answered the Professor " I humbly accept her request." And bowed her head
Shane abruptly stood up and said..
"If it would be alright, may I accompany Lady Watson to the headmistress's office Professor?" She bowed and a little smile appeared on her face with a little bit of fear. She really wanted to accompany Kian.
The Professor was startled for a moment and leaved a heavy sigh seconds later.
[ " This girl really is something else. " ] She thought to herself.
She then spoke again " I don't think it's necessary....but it's fine if you wait outside the door for her Ms. Collins ." Smiling at the child who stood up for a request to accompany her friend.
Shane was hiding her happiness while Kian was just observing on what just happened before her eyes.
" Thank you very much Professor , I won't disappoint you." Shane bowed to the professor with glee.
The classroom was quietly smiling and laughing as they watch the two who were in their own little world. To them they were the people who lights up their atmosphere and makes it all better.
The class really likes to think of Shane Collins as the "Sun" who likes the "Moon" who was Kian Watson.
A gust of wind can be felt in the Academy.
Afternoon was almost over and it was the time to go home. The other students were going home except for the two were at the headmistress's office
The time came where they were required to go and see the Headmistress.
Walking back and forth was Shane Collins, she was sweating a lot, Her friend was now inside the office while she was waiting for her outside the door.
[ "Who knows what kind of things could happen." ] She thought to herself as she knew that the headmistress and Kian were not on the best of terms with each other.
