Chapter 104: Dragon

Walking in the forest on the way to the cave, Otis began to sense an impending danger looming in the air.

Otis's steps faltered as trepidation clawed at his insides.

"I can't remember if today is the day of the event, but I have a strong hunch that it might be," he muttered to himself, his voice heavy with dread.

Suddenly, a deafening roar echoed through the forest, shaking leaves from their branches. As a massive creature soared through the sky, its wings creating a powerful gust of wind that ruffled the surrounding trees, Otis's eyes widened in disbelief.

"IIs that a dragon?" he stammered, fear gripping his voice.

As the dragon descended, Otis and Ruby exchanged grim looks.

"She's looking for her egg, isn't she? So today is truly the day when the event happens," Otis observed, his tone filled with concern.

The dragon's eyes blazed with intensity as it landed before them, its enormous form casting a daunting shadow over the duo.
