Chapter 116: Mia

As they walked back to their home, Ruby thought about what had happened.

Why was the Snake Core so special? Why did it have the Lamia? Why was it so powerful?

There were so many questions, and she didn't know the answer to any of them.

"Otis, are you sure about this?" Ruby asked, concerned.

"Yes," said Otis. "I think it's a good idea."

"But you don't know what it's capable of. It might be dangerous."

"I know," Otis replied, his voice calm and collected. "But I think it's worth the risk. I have a feeling we'll need her."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Ok, then," said Ruby, deciding to trust his judgment.

They soon arrived at their home.

Otis placed the unconscious Lamia on the bed.

"Now that I'm looking at her, she's certainly beautiful, don't you think?" said Otis, studying the Lamia.
