Chapter 53: Stay away from Scarlett

"What do you want, Scarlett?" Izaak asked as he turned around to look at her. "You called me at this hour," he said. 

Scarlett bowed to him. "I apologize to His Highness for calling him at such an hour," she humbly said and then lifted her head. 

"So, what is it that you want to talk about?" Izaak queried. 

"Can His Highness make me meet Prince Magnus?" Scarlett requested him. "I tried to make an appointment to see him, but it seems he doesn't even remember me," she added. 

"Shouldn't you ask the King or the Queen then? They are the easiest way, who can make you see my brother," Izaak replied. 

"I don't wish to do that, Your Highness. Prince Magnus may not like it," Scarlett opined. 

"And you think he will like it when I say to him that Lady Scarlett wishes to see him," Izaak remarked with an arched eyebrow. 

"No, I mean..." Scarlett left puzzled, thinking how she should tell him how important it was for her to see Magnus.
