Chapter 8: Chapter 8 First Hunt

Armstrong jumped forward but tripped as he landed. Turning around, he saw a small green humanoid lunging from the bush with a spear made from a branch.

That's when more walked out of the bushes surrounding him. He started to panic as he counted them.

"They are Thirteen of them, shit!"

He quickly cast, short distance teleportation

"Let's check it out, Hehe". Armstrong brought out his dagger and lunged towards the normal goblins.

He darted forward, shocking the goblins.

Armstrong sliced at the closest Gobin, who tried to block the dagger with its wooden shield.

He smiled as he kicked the dead goblin away, seeing its blood spilling out. He stood still as more goblins surrounded him.

Armstrong smiled with memories of killing goblins while playing visual reality in the real world.

"Wow, Let's do it again"

Armstrong quickly lunged forward while slashing at the closest goblin's neck. The goblin head flew through the air lost far away and landed with heavy thuds.

"How did I do that," Armstrong said looking at his dagger and smiling.

Soon he was surrounded by six more goblins

With a swift flick of his wrist, Armstrong teleported behind the first goblin, planting a gentle kiss on its cheek, rendering it stunned.

As the goblin stumbled, he swiftly lunged forward, his dagger slicing through the air, vanquishing the creature.

The remaining goblins, startled by their comrade's sudden daze, turned to face Armstrong. Armstrong's movements were a dance of precision and speed. He zigzagged across the battlefield, teleporting from one goblin to the next, leaving a trail of bewildered foes in his wake, each kissed and momentarily incapacitated.

With each kiss, Armstrong's confidence swelled, his agility unmatched as he outmaneuvered the bewildered goblins. As the final goblin stood, trembling with fear, Armstrong's teleportation brought him face-to-face. With a sly smile, he landed a kiss on the goblin's forehead.

"Four more to go"

Employing short-distance teleportation, he zipped between the goblins, planting soft kisses on their cheeks. Confusion reigned among the goblins as Armstrong, a blur of grace and agility, completed his mission, leaving the bewildered creatures scratching their heads in disbelief, utterly defeated without a single wound.

Using the shadows as his ally, Armstrong stalked his prey, creeping through the underbrush with the grace of the wind. Swiftly, he struck, his dagger finding its mark with lethal precision, silencing the first goblin before it could even let out a cry.

The remaining goblins, alerted by their comrade's sudden demise, scoured the forest, their malicious eyes darting around for any sign of their assailant. But Armstrong was already on the move, blending seamlessly with the foliage, becoming one with the whispers of the leaves.

As the goblins grew increasingly wary, Armstrong seized his chance, ambushing the second with a lightning-fast strike, swiftly fading back into the cover of the woods. His every movement was a dance of death, a symphony of silence.

The remaining two goblins, now frenzied and furious, banded together, searching frantically for the elusive elf. But Armstrong was a master of patience, waiting for the opportune moment. With the precision of a trained hunter, he struck, taking down the third goblin before it could raise an alarm.

The final goblin, enraged and trembling, was left to face Armstrong alone. Unyielding and resolute, Armstrong circled his prey, dagger poised for the finishing blow. With a flash of steel and a whisper of wind, Armstrong's blade found its mark, ending the reign of the goblins and restoring peace to the forest.

Armstrong stood in the carnage while looking around at his handwork and was surprised at how he did it.

Spotting a few goblins getting up from the goblins that rushed at him at the beginning of the fight.

Rushing forward, he ended all their lives without missing a beat.

That's when he checked his system because he felt that similar feelings earlier but stronger this time.

Examining the notification, Armstrong realized he had Leveled up.

A few hours later, he walked out of the forest.

During his hunt, he managed to kill five more goblins.

Armstrong got excited once he saw his status he had gained a lot from all the hunting he did.

All his stats increased a tiny bit, plus he gathered loads of hearts. He closed his eyes and thought about every creature he had hunted.

He inwardly congratulated himself, what a fruitful first hunt.

Hopefully, he didn't take them along with him.

"I know I will make many coins from this"

remembering the currency from the old Armstrong memories. 'one hundred copper is one silver. One hundred silver is one gold, and one hundred gold is one platinum coin.

Looking down at the ground as he stood up, he hopped off and landed with a thud. When he hit the floor, he heard shouting In the distance.

With his elven ears, he could tell it wasn't far away.

He ran in the direction the noise came from, and after a six-minute run, he came across a very familiar scene.

A group of five adventures were fighting a group of goblins. At the back of the goblins was a goblin shaman casting spells.

The adventures consisted of two knights, a boy and a girl dressed in a heater outfit, and an elf archer who wore black leather that covered most of her body apart from her midriff and legs.

She seemed to value speed over protection, and lastly, there was a tall and muscular human mage with a bald head standing at the black casting protective magic over the group.

The two human knights looked like each other; Blood-red hair, blue eyes, and milk-white skin.

The girl was slender and tall with hawk-like eyes, just like the boy. They wore plate-like armour from head and hand.
