Chapter 49: It seems you're also a pervert

Yeon Jin shut his room door while breathing heavily. He ran so fast just so Beric wouldn't catch up with him.

Remembering Beric's actions, he shivered in fright. He was acting so strange that it actually gave him goosebumps. Was he doing it on purpose?

He looked at the invitation in his hand. It was sealed in a golden envelope and that was how he knew it was something important.

"An invitation to a ball, eh? Why does he want me to go there?" He wondered and then a realization struck him. "He doesn't want me to go there because I'm his guard, right? Does he want to put me on guard duty?"

He shook his head and looked up.

"I don't want to go."

He flung the letter aside and shoved his fingers in his hair. Then, he remembered he wanted to cut his hair but at that same moment, he caught sight of the communication ball and his mind was once again diverted from his hair.

"That's right, I need to ask him about it." He said but paused.
