Chapter 15: 15. Big Liar

"My blood is valuable!" Claude shouted angrily. The puppet on his back suddenly came to life, its four hands wielding its weapons. Claude 's puppet could be controlled by the emotions of its owner, every time Claude got angry, the puppet would respond and immediately protect its master.

"Annoying!" Claude yelled in anger, if he didn't restrain himself soon, the guard would probably be dead by now.

'I think this choice looks a bit wrong.' Claude controlled his puppet to sleep again.

But then his hand was forcibly pulled, and they forced Claude to go with them, pulling Claude 's hand as if he were a fugitive.

"Don't pull me, I can walk by myself!" Claude yelled again, then coughed because his throat hurt.

"Argh, that hurts, stupid!" Claude 's body kept being pulled, and even though Claude fell, they still dragged him like a fugitive.

"I told you I can walk by myself!" Claude yelled, freeing himself.

"Get him!" the guard pretending to be the leader shouted.

"I'm not going to run!" Claude was quiet, he didn't run.

"I just, just ... just going to hit you!" He then controlled his puppet to hit the three guards with its wooden hands.

After satisfying himself, Claude laughed softly. "Hihihi, let's go."

Claude was taken into the luxurious royal academy, where many talented students exceeded Claude , but unfortunately, they were only supporting roles, so they were useless.

"So this is the academy?" Claude asked in awe.

"Their unique powers are also seen like this, when I write, I can't describe the powers of supporting characters, but if you look at them directly, it's cool," Claude admired.

Claude was taken to the dormitory.

"Please come in," said the special healer girl of the academy.

"Oh my." How surprised Claude was to see a young man with black hair lying with severe wounds, his hands and feet broken. It was Kane, he was unconscious, but his heart was still beating. Kane also had internal injuries.

"He argued with Xavier, Xavier is a Mage and he challenged him but we know that mages will excel when fighting close-range attackers, so this is the result," explained the healer girl named Lily.

Claude understood, and he began to heal Kane with his power. Kane, who was initially in pain, began to calm down. He healed all the wounds on Kane's body, both internal and external.

Claude 's eyes slowly blurred because Kane's injuries were so severe that they drained Claude 's energy. He was now powerless.

Claude touched his head as he finished dealing with Kane. He wanted to rush out of this place.

"Can you tell them it was me who saved him, once he wakes up?" Claude asked Lily, the healer.

"Of course," Lily nodded happily.

She then glanced at the wound on Claude's hand and sneered inwardly,

"The strongest healer should bleed to death, I'll never save you."

"Ugh."

As Claude had left the room, Kane began to regain consciousness. He felt incredibly refreshed, as if someone had given him extra energy.

"Are you awake? Luckily I saved you right away," Lily lied, fetching a towel and warm water to clean Kane's dirty body from Claude's disgusting touch.

"You saved me?" Kane asked the girl in front of him.

"Y-yes," Lily nodded, feeling embarrassed.

"All my wounds are gone," Kane was momentarily puzzled, his body completely unblemished.

He touched his face, where a scar had disappeared.

"A mirror, where's the mirror?" Kane suspiciously pointed to the spot where the scar had been.

"Here." Despite her astonishment, Lily handed him a mirror.

"Who told you to remove the cool scar on my face?!" Kane erupted.

"It was an accident," Lily defended herself, unaware that Claude had healed everything.

"An accident?!" Kane was angry, his hand raised to strike the healer.

"But anyway, I'm the one who saved you, don't attack me," Lily's words managed to make Kane hold back his hand.

"I didn't know you were this powerful, you could heal but couldn't remove an old scar, is that really you?" Kane wondered, knowing Lily had been his academic companion for years, and aware of her abilities.

Kane could see the lie on her face.

"Y-yes," Lily replied, sweating nervously.

After saving Kane, Claude was dismissed. His reputation in the kingdom was terrible; he was labeled as ugly and insolent, accused of being a rebellious child kicked out by his parents, even though Claude had run away himself. As Claude walked towards the gate, someone even called him a prostitute.

The three guards escorting Claude also instructed him to find his own way home, which was heartbreaking. They didn't take responsibility after bringing Claude here.

Claude touched his throbbing hand, trying to heal it, but the wound never fully closed.

"Ah, people have no gratitude. After I saved Kane, they have the audacity to tell me to leave on my own," Claude muttered disappointedly.

Claude's vision blurred, feeling like he might faint right there. His hand cramped up. Claude stopped for a moment, trying to hold himself up, afraid that if he took another step, he would collapse.

"My head hurts, how do I heal my wounds? I need a healer too," Claude whispered weakly.

"In this story, I have low blood pressure. This wound really makes my head spin," Claude continued to massage his temples.

A few seconds later, his world started spinning, and Claude fell. He passed out, his body hitting the ground.

"SOMEONE'S FAINTED!" the students shouted in panic.

"THERE'S SOMEONE FAINTED IN FRONT OF THE GATE! TEACHER, LOOK!"

Claude felt his body being lifted by someone, their hair white. Their bangs covering their eyes.

"Xavion, huh?" Claude murmured.

The white-haired youth accidentally pressed against Claude's body upon hearing the name 'Xavion.'

Claude's eyes closed again.

'White hair... the only person he created with white hair was Xavier.'

"Xavier?!"

Claude immediately woke up from someone's bed, seeing Xavier smiling while carving an apple into a rabbit shape, realizing that Xavier, the one who saved him, was currently in Xavier's dorm.

The wound on his hand had healed.

"Have a drink, it's medicine." Seeing Claude wake up, he handed Claude a glass of water.

"I don't want it," Claude refused, fearful.

"I'll feed you the medicine mouth to mouth?" Xavier teased.

"Cough cough, what kind of idea is that?!" Claude grumbled, annoyed.
