Chapter 58: Colosseum I

For almost two weeks now, Zariel has been tirelessly working with Aurelia and Zyila. He has spent his nights imparting his knowledge about the School of Necromancy to the two girls, while during the day, he has been trading with various mortals or cultivating the Stars within his chest. Zariel had very little free time, and his schedule had become increasingly hectic. 

Presently, Zariel was in his chamber observing a woman with fair hair who was gently holding her protruding belly. She appeared to be quite pale, with a faded bruise near the corner of her lip.

Rita, her Masters called her, had been a slave made to pleasure various champions of the local colosseum, or so she claimed, had been frequenting Zariels establishment. Apparent with child, Rita sought her freedom in the arms of a first-time champion, Ulris. 

She'd been a gift her master, the Baron, had bestowed upon him in the hopes of fathering a child.
