Chapter 3: 1 YEAR LATER
The boys spent the next 12 months living their baby lives learning to crawl, walk, and grow as fast as possible. Ceteus and Key were finally able to learn the language after a few months thanks to their talents, key was slower than the others but caught on pretty fast compared to normal kids.
They were even able to awaken their mana cores which normally would have done so naturally around the age of 8-10, even for noble children 5-6 years old. Kwatee was the first to do so after a month which completely startled him and and his mother as she was playing with the children at the time. it seemed to be because of one of his talents.
After awakening his mana core his ability to feel and perceive mana increased greatly, allowing him to teach the others how to awaken their mana cores. Mikro was the second to awaken at 2 months old, but Ceteus and Key were a different case it took Ceteus till 6 months and Key till 7 months.
They figured it had to do with the talents they each had but soon realized after reading a book in one of the libraries that even if a baby could meditate and had at least an A rank talent for it it would take till they were at least 2-3 years old unless the baby had a body that had a high affinity for mana which has nothing to do with the talents one has.
I guess it was another gift from the goddess they figured.
They were all in the second stage of a black mana core except for Kwatee who was in the final stage of a black mana core and could have broken through but decided to wait for two reasons. One he didn't know if his toddler baby could handle the outburst of the next stage and two was to wait for the other to catch up before advancing. In honesty, Kwatee was just scared of the pain again his younger body couldn't handle it and he didn't want to experience it again so he has been suppressing his natural mana absorption.
they were definitely a lot stronger after awakening but hadn't done any physical training just yet or used any ability that would be too suspicious and decided to just stay in the library reading and learning more about the world and mana.
their mother Seraphina found their behavior of course weird be didn't mind it too much cause when she was only 2 she stayed in the library as well, and never really played with toys, and they weren't troublemakers and never bothered anyone unless they had questions.
In a quaint room filled with the soft glow of sunlight filtering through pastel curtains, Mikro was sitting down a toddler with bright eyes and a crown of soft curls, was perched on a miniature chair at a low table. put down his book on the table that had at least 100 other books on it filled with endless knowledge
"Alright guys this was the last library time to do a system check and see how far we progressed"

"ugh, Kwatee I hate you so much what are those stats."
Ceteus started complaining almost immediately as soon as he saw Kwatee stat chart.
"oh be quiet, says the guy who has multiple lives and who can come back even stronger than last time" Kwatee rebutted
"Guys it doesn't matter Once Father comes back today after his journey, Mother says we can start with actual training and it's not like we can train on our own my separate dimension Time Chamber is too suspicious if we leave out of thin air."
Key quickly got between the two and said.
"Key is right and once we start training maybe we can fight monsters and get our levels up, 'cause right now our stats are just natural increases, and if we don't train our bodies and get stat points through leveling up, we will be wasting our potential. It seems every time we break through our stats increase by a multiplier the higher our stats are the more dividend we will get."
Mikro chimed in.
"Besides a lot of our talents are being wasted if we don't train now and decide to wait till we get to school"
The boys looked behind them at the same time because they could hear the door open.
As the heavy, ornate doors swung open with a whisper, a waft of ancient parchment and enchantment greeted every step into the grand library of Eldralore. Sunlight streamed through towering stained glass windows, casting kaleidoscopic patterns on the polished marble floor. The air hummed with otherworldly energy as if the very essence of knowledge permeated every inch of the colossal space.
Bookshelves, reaching towards the celestial heights, lined the expansive hall, each tome bound in rich leather and embellished with mystical symbols. The spines of the books seemed to shimmer with a soft, ethereal glow, their titles written in elegant scripts that hinted at secrets waiting to be unveiled.
The library's architecture, a fusion of elven craftsmanship and celestial magic, created an ambiance that transcended the ordinary. Columns adorned with intricate carvings soared towards a vaulted ceiling, where constellations seemed to twinkle in a perpetual dance. Soft, ambient music, a melody composed by ancient bards, echoed through the air, complementing the soft rustle of pages turning and the hushed murmurs of scholars lost in their studies.
As visitors tread upon the plush carpets that absorbed the echo of footsteps, a sense of reverence enveloped them. This Visitor was their Father.
