Chapter 4: Seduced him
"Did you make those strange calls?" With hardened eyes, he asked, tightening his grip around her hand, which made her yelp.
"Calls? I have no idea what you mean sir, can you let go of me now?" Struggling against his hold, she said.
"Not until you tell me why you made those strange calls? Did you think I would accept you as my mate just because you made those calls?" Harshly, he asked, his voice growing louder as he talked.
What the hell was he saying, why would she want to be his mate? Well, he was truly handsome now that she was looking at him properly, but she didn't give a fuck about a mate now.
"Mister, you are not okay, let me go now and mind your business. I don't understand what you are saying," she said, her voice and expression matching her words.
"I would have believed you if you weren't naked, is it to tempt me? Unfortunately, your dry skin doesn't attract me, it could work for the dirty men." He said, body shaming her.
"What? Do you think I am a whore just because I am naked?" She asked, tears streaming down her eyes as she clenched her hands into fists. His words were so painful that she didn't cower to cover herself.
"Why would a sane woman be naked?" Not getting moved by her tears, he asked.
"What does it matter when that bastard has seen it all?!! And I was told dying naked meant you want everyone to recognize your body, so when you come back as a ghost, they know you are the one." Yelling, she answered, causing the tears to pour out more.
No one ever believed her, they judged her by the fact that she was a bastard child. She decided to become successful to earn respect, but no one ever respected her, they never even tried to respect her. They showed her their true colors and were never good to her.
Getting married to your step-sibling wasn't against the law, but what has she done to deserve such a reward?
Slowly, he let go of her hand and took a step back. Her tears and emotions were greatly affecting him, and he knew why. Just when he thought he could never have a mate, she came and it had to be someone whose dignity had already been stripped.
Really, what a fate he had!
As Angel tried to wipe off her tears, her right leg accidentally slid against the edge of the rooftop and she fell.
"Nooo!" She screamed, holding out her hands for Fernando to reach, but it was too late.
Fernando just watched her as she fell, deciding to let her die naturally, so he could live without a mate. Well, she was going to commit suicide even if he wasn't here so it wasn't his fault.
Turning his back away, he took a step towards the door but felt an excruciating pain in his chest that made him stop. "Fuck," he cursed and looked back to where Angel just fell from.
Shifting into his wolf, he jumped down from the roof and swiftly caught Angel in the air, wrapping her closely in his arms, before looking for a safe place to land.
Gbam Gbam!!! The thunderous sound of something falling alerted everyone inside the pack house, and they all moved out to check what it was.
There was a strong fog blocking their view, but when it cleared, Fernando's right-hand man was the first to approach the scene.
"Alpha!" He called, quickly recognizing the black wolf. No black wolf was as huge as Fernando's own so it was easy to spot him.
Fernando's wolf had already sniffed the scent of who it was, so he changed back into his human form and ordered, "Get me a blanket," confusing Phillips.
Fernando had always been able to change into and out of his wolf without tearing off his clothes completely, why was he suddenly in need of a blanket? Was he… the rest of the thoughts died down when he spotted a fair leg in Fernando's embrace.
"Right away," getting the hint, Phillips signaled for his men to gather around Fernando, and he went to get the blanket.
Thankfully, Fernando's body was big enough, weighing three times her, so he easily covered her naked body away from the eyes of his men. His men were smart enough, they had directed their gaze elsewhere.
Fetching the blanket from the car, Phillips handed it over to Fernando. His men instantly knew what to do so they faced away, with Phillips following suit.
Alpha Jason and his people just stood watching them in amazement, wondering what was happening. Why was Alpha Fernando suddenly naked and what was he trying to hide from people?
"Father!" Intruding his thoughts, Henry called, he was wearing a different attire and didn't look like someone who was locked.
"I told you not to come out until I get her stamped paper, what are you doing here?" Nervous, he said, looking around for Angel.
"I heard the loud noise and thought you were in danger," Henry defended himself but Alpha Jason wasn't moved by that, because he knew his children had no real affection for him but fear.
As he was about to scold Andras, a deep angry voice called for him, "Alpha Jason, your audience is sought." It was Phillips and he looked like he had a personal grudge against him. Whatever, it was his Alpha Jason cared about, he could get rid of this nuthead if things went his way.
"Alright," he answered and followed Phillips to where Fernando was. Henry was curious, so he followed after them.
"Alpha Fernando, are you Al…" he parted his mouth in shock when he saw something unexpectable laying in Fernando's hands.
That bitch, did she manage to seduce him? No, he couldn't let her succeed, he was planning to set up his only legitimate daughter with Alpha Fernando if this marriage plan worked. He wouldn't let that cunning bitch ruin his plan for him, just like her mother seduced him.
