Chapter 5: Improving bloodline 2
"But don't worry, you'll help us won't you? Kurama."
When Jiraiya said this a certain beast in kushina's mind space opened his eyes.
"hump, you damn brat" Kurama snorted with a smile on his face.
"Why would Kurama help us? He's still full of hate, if we ask him for help he'll surely start screaming" said Kushina then started to imitate the Kyubi "I'll kill you girl, take these chains off me so I can tear you apart. And things like that" Kushina finished the imitation.
"I've already taken care of that, the reason I was exhausted is because I put three people into my fate seeing technique."
"Three people?" asked Minato
"Yes, the day on the day I awakened my byakugan I didn't just see my father's destiny, I also saw Kurama's destiny. But for some reason I only saw his life from the day he was sealed in my father." Jiraiya replied
"The moment I showed you my father's life I also put Kurama in that illusion, but it was a different illusion, to Kurama I showed his own life in the future. And unlike you who witnessed someone else's life, he experienced his own life and felt his emotions, he saw his relationship with my father and witnessed how my father became friends with all the bijus. So, if I'm not mistaken Kurama should be practically a the same as the one in my future."
"Then he should be able to help us, right?". Asked Kushina to Jiraiya who replied "I don't know, why don't we ask him?". After saying that Jiraiya walked over to his grandmother and took out another scroll, but this time it was blank. Looking at his grandmother he said "Grandmother if you allow me I will change Kurama's seal to one similar to my father's which will allow better cooperation between you."
To which Kushina replied with a smile "Of course I will Ji-chan" puzzled with her grandmother's nickname her cheeks flushed at the affection shown by her grandmother, something she hadn't felt in a while.
After his grandmother's confirmation jiraiya picked up the blank scroll and began to draw on it.
Kushina and Minato looked at Jiraiya curious until Kushina couldn't stand it and asked "this Ji-chan aren't you supposed to put the seals on my body?" Jiraiya lifted the scroll and replied "this is a seal transfer scroll, once I finish drawing the seal I just have to stick it on your belly and the drawing will go from paper to body. A creation of mine makes drawing the stamps on the body much faster." The two looked at each other in awe of their grandson's creation.
A few moments later Jiraiya finished drawing and looked at his grandmother "Grandma I have to warn you this will hurt" He said with a serious look to which Kushina replied with determination "I'm ready, this is for the sake of my family I will endure it" Jiraiya then looked at his grandfather "Grandpa you will have to hold grandma during the process" to which Minato nodded.
Jiraiya then placed the scroll on Kushina's belly, the seals on the scroll spread all over kushina's body. After that he looked at his grandmother seeking her approval to begin, to which Kushina nodded. "Fuin" Jiraiya said to which the seals began to glow.
Kushina felt excruciating pain as if her guts had been ripped out and burning embers placed in their place. She tried to endure the pain, but after a few moments she lost consciousness.
Ten minutes later Kushina opened her eyes with difficulty and saw Jiraiya and Minato looking at her with worried looks. After that she looked at her belly and saw the new seal, it looks similar with Naruto's seal, but it's a bit more complex thought Kushina.
"Is it done?" asked Kushina looking at Jiraiya who replied with a smile "Yes, this seal will allow cooperation between Kurama and you. The previous one only allowed you to steal Kurama's chakra with your chains, this one however allows you two to fight together."
"Grandma let Kurama come out, so we can talk to him" JIraiya said looking at her grandmother. "How do I do that Ji-chan" Kushina asked. "You should know that, when I put the seal on you automatically know how to use it" Kushina nodded searching in her mind she discovered that she knew exactly all the functions of the seal, after that she called Kurama to the outside world.
Suddenly an adorable little orange fox appeared in front of them. "What do you want brats" Kurama said with a thick voice that contrasted his physical appearance.
Kushina seeing Kurama's adorable little form ran up to Kurama and hugged him "Kawaiii" exclaimed Kushina with her eyes sparkling "These tails are so fluffy" she continued as she stroked his nine tails. "Let go of me you insolent human, how dare you hug the strongest tailed beast" Kurama said as he tried to pull away from Kushina.
"How does it feel to see the outside after so long Kurama" Jiraiya said as he smiled at the adorable fox. Kurama who was still in Kushina's arms said "Not bad, kiddo. Don't expect me to say thank you though, hump" snorted the tsundere fox as kushina stroked his head
"You're welcome, little fox tsundere" replied Jiraiya with annoyance "Don't call me mortal tsundere you know who I am? I'm the beast with a tail" "stronger, yeah yeah yeah whatever, anyway, I summoned you because I need your help with something" Said Jiraiya
"I want you to help me purify my grandfathers bloodline, can you do it?" asked Jiraiya to which Kurama looked at him and asked "As payment for freeing me from that shitty seal and giving me a better abode, I will help you. Now explain to me what to do" replied Kurama.
"All you have to do is flow your chakra to the bloodline purification seals, nothing else. The seal will do all the work. Is that all right with you?"
"Yes, mortal if that is all you ask for I will help."
"Fine, but first we should get inside the house because this will take time" Jiraiya said looking at his grandparents.
Once already inside the house in a room Jiraiya had put his grandparents on a bed side by side. After that Jiraiya looked at his grandparents and said "This is what we are going to do, first we are going to create the dojutsu in both of you, then once the dojutsu is created we will purify your bloodline, do you agree with that?" Jiraiya asked his grandparents to which Minato asked "On the dojutsu part I agree, but I don't think it is a good idea to purify my bloodline since I don't come from any clan. Using the seal on me would be a waste" Minato said to his grandson who smiled at him and replied "Not necessarily purifying the bloodline has a benefit besides just strengthening it, the purification process will eliminate all congenital diseases. Besides, as you said you don't know who your ancestors were, maybe you come from some extinct clan or you are a distant relative of some powerful clan. Who knows, maybe you can get some kekkei genkai from your ancestors. In my opinion it is possible that you are a descendant of some extinct clan since your talent is not something that a villager without a clan can have" Jiraiya said to his grandfather who after some thought said "Ok, if you say so I will do it".
Jiraiya looked at his grandmother and said "What about you grandma, are you okay with this?" to which she replied with a smile "Yes Ji-chan, if it's for a better future I'll do it" Kushina said determinedly
"Good" jiraiya said as he took out a syringe with a yellow liquid "this will put you to sleep, when you wake up the process will be over" after that he pricked his grandparents neck and made sure they were asleep.
