Chapter 11: Healing Pill
[ System loading… New mission: Eliminate Consort Xi ]
And so my new Mission began, to Eliminate my enemy.

Just as the Monarch started eating, the other Consorts including me joined along with them but sometime later, the sound of someone choking was heard and it was no one other than Consort Xi.
Meanwhile, Consort Xi gasped for breath, his face turning a deep shade of red as he struggled to swallow the food laced with ginger, to which he was severely allergic.
His throat burned intensely, and he clawed at his neck in desperation as painful welts began to appear on his body, a stark manifestation of his allergic reaction.
Panic engulfed the other Consorts who had been dining with him as they watched helplessly, unsure of how to aid their stricken colleague.
Upon seeing this, the Monarch's face was filled with slight horror as she shouted, "Consort Xi? What's wrong? Are you alright?"
She asked but he kept on coughing, immediately the servants and The maids gathered around him all trying to see what was the matter.
Just then, Ma'am Han spotted some sliced ginger in his soup as her eyes widened in shock.
Collapsing down to the ground, she bowed as her body shivered in fear, "Please have mercy your majesty.. i-it seems that 2nd Consort Xi has consumed Ginger!"
She revealed as they all gasped in shock.
Hearing her words the Monarch immediately stood up angrily and so did the other Consorts including me.
"What? G-ginger? How could you serve him ginger when everyone knows of his allergy? How impudent!"
The Monarch shouted angrily as she drew the sword of one of her guards angrily.
She was ready to cut off the head of anyone right now.. how dare day?
Meanwhile, I just stood there with my expression unreadable as always.
I never expected the monarch to react in such a way, turns out that she did have somewhat of love for the 2nd Consort, too bad be would be out of their lives soon.
With the Monarch's anger rising, Just then, Consort wei, my brother made his way to the Monarch's side as he gently placed his hands on her hand which was holding the sword.
"You should calm down your majesty, I'm sure we can get all these resolved without the spilling of blood.. it was a mistake, right now our main priority is to get Consort Xi treated as soon as possible!"
He said softly to her and after sometime the Monarch calmed down slowly as she placed her sword down.
"Ma'am Han, stand up and go get the doctor immediately!" He said as she stood up and did as instructed immediately.
And after that, he instructed some servants to help Consort Xi lay on his back as they helped to remove his outer garment so he could breathe well.
I had to say that he was truly a man with brains. No wonder the monarch liked him so much.
And after sometime, the door opened and the physician made his way in and horridly checked on Consort Xi who was almost out of breathe.
"How is he Doctor? Is he alright?" The Monarch questioned as the doctor nodded slightly.
"Well your Majesty, although he is fine… I don't think the itching and burning would stop anytime soon, it could even harm him internally and externally which could cause his skin to burn and rotten," the physician revealed as murmurs started to fill the room.
If his skin wee to burn and rotten then it would literally be the end of him.
"Is there a way to stop the burning and Itching doctor?" 1st Consort Ming asked as Consort Rong and Lan who were holding his arm nodded to his words, "Y-es doctor, is there a way?"
They asked in unison and with that, the doctor stood up, "Yes my lords, the best medicine he needs to help wuthyhis burning and itches is the healing pill which an ordinary Doctor like me don't have!"
"But I'm sure her Majesty the Monarch would have at least a bottle to spare, it would heal all the burning occuring on Consort Xi's body!"
He Doctor said as the monarch nodded.
Meanwhile, Consort Xi sighed in relief. Thank goodness, when he heard the doctor's words on how his skin and body could burn and rotten, he felt like dying on the spot.
Now he could be saved and after he then could he punish all the maids working in the royal kitchen who had almost caused him his life.
But then, Consort Wei's next words took everyone by surprise, "Well that's unfortunate doctor because the last batch of Healing pill has been emptied!"
He revealed as They all gasped, "W-what do you mean emptied, there were up to fifty, how could they all be gone in just a few days?"
Consort Xi asked almost in tears.
"I'm sorry but yesterday, the last batch was sent to the camp for the soldiers and worriers in other to heal their wounds which they obtained from the war and the on going plague in the north.. so there is none remaining in the safe!"
Wei chang said his face as stoic and expressionless as ever, showing no sign of pity or apology.
It wasn't like it was his fault or anything. He was mainly doing his job just like the monarch has instructed.
"If the healing pill are all gone, what are we going to do now doctor? How long would it take for the burning and rotting to take place?" The Monarch questioned.
"Well your majesty, it would be in less than a day!" The physician replied.
"But it wouldn't take at least a week to get a new batch of Healing pills delivered, what are we going to do now?" Consort Ming said as they all got thinking on what to do, of course everyone expect me.
Without wasting any more time, I stepped forward, my expression calm, my face gradient and bright with no single sign on wickedness.
I said unto them, "I have a healing pill to share!"
