Chapter 1: Moriath the strongest human
"Where am I? Oh yes, one of those lowly humans challenged me again," I muttered. My gaze was fixed; everything around me was black – the only thing I saw was my fists, smeared with blood. I looked up and saw my opponent, an approximately 24-year-old man who seemed eager to prove his strength.
"You arrogant son of a whore," the man shouted before attempting to strike me in the face. "Boring," I replied, effortlessly dodging the attack and bringing him to the ground. "Seems like you've lost quite a bit of blood," I chuckled, checking his breathing and whispering in his ear, "Tell everyone about your defeat against Moriath."
I left the battleground and slipped into an alley, contemplating my hunger and the possibility of enjoying a piece of strawberry cake at Olga's Café. As I reached the end of the alley, it suddenly became eerily quiet – no people, no vendors, not even prostitutes. Confused, I looked around and noticed a shadow behind me. I turned around and saw an older man with a top hat and monocle.
"It's time for tea, don't you think, Moriath?" he said. Uncertain, I asked for his name. "My name is Charles Treller. I work with a group of people to defeat the gods who destroyed the so-called Lost Kingdoms. The goal is to bring order and justice to this world."
He explained that they had been observing me due to my abilities and that I could help restore the lost kingdoms and peace. Suspicious, I asked if he was joking. He explained the situation and opened a door that led to a forest. Without hesitation, I stepped through and saw a dark, ruined castle on the other end.
