"A destroyed castle?" I looked at Charles questioningly. "And am I supposed to rebuild that?" I said indignantly. "It takes years to rebuild a castle like that." Suddenly, I lost the ground beneath my feet and fell through a hole. The deeper I fell, the larger the hole became until I finally reached the bottom. Everything was dark until a candle behind me started to glow, revealing a court jester in front of my eyes.
"Hello, little man, just coming from up there?" the man smiled at me. He was dressed in typical jester attire and even had a rattling staff. Without hesitation, he extended his hand and introduced himself, "Jester, pleased to meet you. And you are?" He continued to smile as I began introducing myself. He started to stand up and disappear into the darkness right after that. "What a peculiar guy," I said, confused. As I stood up and tried to find a way out, I saw Jester's staff emerging from the darkness below, attempting to trip me. Just as I managed to avoid the staff, Jester suddenly appeared from the darkness, laughing.
"What's your name again?" "Moriath," I answered quickly and angrily. "Where are we?" Jester looked at me, puzzled, and started laughing again. "Did the old man not tell you anything? You're here in my realm. You belong solely to me." I didn't know what to say. "I can see it in your eyes, Mori. You have questions, and I have answers. So..." Out of nowhere, two chairs and a table appeared with pre-prepared tea and some cookies on it. "So, ask me," the jester laughed at me. "Why am I here?" I asked him eagerly. He looked at me, laughed again, and said, "The old man didn't tell you anything, huh? You're here for a test. To see if you really have what it takes. You should know, I'm not one of the good ones." I stood up and began walking into the darkness. I kept running until I could recognize the back of the chairs, the table, and the spot where I started. "Did I run in circles?" I wondered confusedly. Jester appeared again. "Alright, enough with the fun. Let's begin."
