Chapter 9: Seal
"So then how did you manage to seal yourself and lose all strength?"
[Oh, that? Actually, I was just playing around with a new skill I made using my fusion and authority and just accidentally fucked myself up and got sealed away. It's been more than about 23 million years, so I don't think most people even remember my existence.]
"Man... What a loser you are..."
Kael released a deep breath, feeling disappointed, but as soon as he did that, Lucifel immediately started punching his face with those puffy limbs.
[Fuck you! Bastard!? You don't have any idea what being a God is, do you? Fuck you!]
"Oh well, whatever. So what help do you need from me?"

Kael was amazed as he heard this. He had read the novel, so he understood the worth of this newly unlocked potential. Aura users use 'Aura Core' stored inside their dantian, which is a space just about three inches below the rib cage. Mana users, on the other hand, use 'Mana Heart' located in their heart.
As the number of stars surrounding these places increases, so does their strength and potential. However, no one can awaken both Mana Heart and Aura Core at the same time because if both are used, the soul will get crushed due to too much pressure.
'But now I have this cheat in my hand, huh...'
Kael smirked and closed his eyes. Within a few seconds, he could sense both the Mana Heart with just one star circling around his heart and the 4 stars surrounding his Aura Core too.
Kael nodded as he opened his eyes again and muttered, "4 Star Aura Expert and 1 Star Mana Novice, my mana will be dragging me down..."
*Oh! I can actually help you with that! This place doesn't have any libraries anyway, so I'm the only one who can teach you any spells, magic, and principles behind them. As for Aura, it's better to learn on your own and overcome limits.*
Kael heard him and nodded with a smile as he sliced off another tree and commented, "Well then, I will be relying on you for help for the next few days."
'The timeline of the novel will be starting in about 5 months, so I need to maximize my strength by that time, because that's when all sorts of dangers will start awakening, and the world will be getting messed up. So even to survive, I need to be cautious...'
Kael thought that and, with a resolute face, continued his work. From that day, he started listening to Lucifel's lectures all day, along with the time he put into his daily life activities. He used hours to meditate and train his aura too, after learning some tips from Lucifel about aura and the principles behind its movements and effects of its usage on the body and things.
"Kael~ I'm placing my jar of candy here! Don't tell others, or they will just take it away!"
Kids like Amy and others would randomly visit Kael all the time to play or have fun. Kael didn't mind them and continued his work. After about 4 months, Kael had completed his mastery over mana to its full potential.
"So guess I can finally check my full potential of overall strength today."
Kael said that as he saw the Moonshadow Panther standing in front of him in the middle of the dense forest, its pupils shining coldly under the dark night sky.
'This one is the strongest monster I've found in the whole region of several miles. It lives quite far from human settlements and is a Mystic Grade monster. I spotted this one about a month ago but decided to leave it at that time because I wasn't absolutely sure about its strength. But guess today is the day!'
Kael prepared himself as he grabbed both axes in his hand and looked straight into the eyes of the beast, which was really five times bigger than him.
"Grrrrrrrr..."
The beast showed a cold hint of bloodlust, and drool leaked from its mouth. Kael was fully prepared, and his aura covered him completely as he dashed straight toward the beast with both axes in his grasp.
"Give me your blood, you bastard!!!"
"Grrrraaawwwwwllll!"
The beast also had similar plans as it jumped toward Kael. As both made contact with each other, Kael blocked the fangs and claws of the beast with his main axe and immediately struck its shoulders with his other axe.
"He's done for!"
As soon as the axe crashed with the beast, a small but intense cyclone suddenly appeared over the place, causing dust and leaves to fly everywhere and deepening the wound on the beast.
"Graaaahh!!!"
The beast roared in pain, and as it was about to use another claw to crush Kael, he had already escaped the range of the attack using all the dust and leaves, causing more distraction.
"Not so fast..."
