Chapter 3: Chapter 3: She Hates Boys.

Lauren and Belinda sat on opposite couches inside the living room deeply in a discussion. The two girls were totally oblivious of the boy who was standing in the directions of the kitchen. The intentions of the boy wasn't to eavesdrop but rather he couldn't keep his eyes off the tomboy.

The two girls continued their discussion for quite long but the boy still didn't seize glaring at the girl. It was only at times that Belinda gazed in his direction making their gazes meet that the boy gazed away guiltily.

After about 40 minutes or so, Belinda finally bid Lauren goodbye before leaving. Joe looked on as she left and followed her outside and only left after she had disappeared into thin air after zooming off in her car.

Lauren remained sitting on the couch as her eyes lingered on the boy who was acting weird as he had just entered the house. She gave a deep yawn standing up from the couch then sauntered towards the bedroom but stopped in her steps after being called.

"Sisel.." lil Joe called out as he walked to where she was now standing still. Hesitantly, lil Joe added in a low tone." Actually I have a question.... But first sit down please..." The two siblings sat on the opposite couches just close to the bedroom door.

" Is your little sister seeing someone.... I mean. " Lil Joe finally muttered with crossed fingers. "She doesn't coz she hates boys." Lauren replied absentmindedly while yawning with one hand placed on her mouth and the other scratching the back of her head.

A smile appeared on the boy's face and muttered slowly though it was loud enough for his sister to hear. " Then I'll be the first boy she loves."

"So you like her no wonder you were acting weird around her. Lauren muttered half asleep before finally falling asleep.

" Actually not just liking her I think I love her." The boy thought to himself with a smile plastered on his face.

The next day.

The two siblings, Lauren and Joses sat at the vast dinning having breakfast. The place was in deep silence except of the little sounds made by the plates and cutlery.

The way Joses looked is as if he had wanted to start a conversation but somehow something best known to him was keeping him back. At the time he had almost cleared everything off his plate and was just staring at his sister.

"Are you really serious on what you said yesterday... She hates boys." Lil Joe finally muttered. Lauren was still chewing and made it a point not to talk before she swallowed the food in her mouth.

Hardly had she talked when she heard Big Joe calling out from the direction of the vast living room. " Sisel... Sisel " Big Joe called out impatiently.

Lauren stood up from her seat running in the direction of the voice with widened eyes. She spread her hands wide and the two siblings embraced in a hug which was made tighter by Lauren.

" I missed you guys like crazy. " She muttered while making the hug even more tight as her head rested on his chest.

"I think we should have a group hug." A voice slowly muttered from the kitchen direction and from there came Joses who joined his siblings in a hug.

---------------

Moments later.

Joseph sat on a separate couch facing his siblings who were seated on the opposite couch. Regardless of being a well known and respected CEO, he hated formality and only wore suits on only important meetings and gatherings. On other occasions, he preferred simple casual home wears and that was one way he disguised in public.

"I've already organised a permanent apartment for you. It's up to you to choose whether to move in with me, stay here or move in the apartment. " Joseph said with his gaze fixed on Joses.

A chuckle escaped Joses' lips as had he fallen into his fantasy land. "If I leave this place I may not get a chance of seeing her ever again." He thought to himself still with a smile totally oblivious of his siblings.

The two looked at their brother who was now smiling wondering what was wrong with him. Joses continued fantasizing for some more seconds until he finally muttered still with a smile on his lips. " I think I'll stay here."

Lauren instantly objected but however seeing that the boy was not ready to go back on his decision and nevertheless there was enough space in the house as a number of bedrooms remained unoccupied, she finally decided to let him be.

It was already lunch time and seeing that there wouldn't be enough time to prepare food, Lauren decided to order food which was delivered a few minutes later.

After having lunch, Joseph bid them goodbye because he had an important meeting to attend that afternoon and he needed time to prepare ahead of time.

It being important, he had to keep a formal look which meant he had to dress himself in a suit. However he hadn't carried any of his clothes to his sister's house which meant he had to drop at his place before continuing to the newly finished building which would now act as the corporation's headquarters.

-------------

Lauren stood up from where she was seated leaving behind Joe who was now in deep thoughts again.

"So she's the boy I met back then at my parents funeral ten years ago. No wonder she hates boys so much..... She went through so much trying to be a boy." He thought to himself still deep in thoughts.

The thought of her didn't leave his mind as he couldn't stop thinking of all she went through trying to pose as a boy. She had missed living as a normal girl and at the time it was too late for her but rather had to embrace what she had now became.
