Chapter 28: 28- Long Xiu, Massage
After spending countless hours honing his skills with the LOG treasure, Xu Fang finally emerged and headed to the dining hall for a well-deserved lunch. "I've also come to extend my congratulations on the second matter," Long Xiu revealed, revealing her dual purpose for the visit.
"And what's that second thing?" He inquired with curiosity evident in his tone.
"It's about gaining your mother's approval to explore beyond the castle for real-world adventures," she disclosed, unveiling the second matter she had alluded to earlier.
"Oh, so Mother has already spread the news to everyone," Xu Fang remarked, realizing the subject at hand.
"Xu Fang, I need to ask you something. Can you promise to tell me the truth?" Long Xiu inquired, seeking his honesty.
"What is it?" Xu Fang responded, curious about the question she was about to pose.
"First, promise me that you'll be truthful," Long Xiu insisted, asking for his assurance.
"It depends on the question," he replied with a smile, maintaining a sense of playfulness.
"Okay, can you tell me why I couldn't see through your original cultivation? How were you able to conceal it?" Long Xiu asked, probing into the mystery.
"Oh, it's a secret," he replied with a mysterious smile, leaving the question unanswered.
"I already know you did not tell me the truth," she remarked, indicating that she was aware of his response.
"But I'll reveal that secret if you grant me something in return," he added, wearing a mysterious expression.
"What do you want in return?" she inquired, curious about his request.
"I want to give you a massage. Do you agree?" Xu Fang asked, seeking permission to carry out the unusual request.
"What? Do you realize what you're asking?" She responded with a shocked expression.
"Yes, I'm fully aware of my request, and I don't see anything wrong with it. Why is it so surprising?" He replied calmly, showing no visible emotion.
"You're aware that I'm your mother. How can you make such a request?" she exclaimed, expressing her disbelief.
"You're not my mother; you're my stepmother. Plus, don't forget, we're friends as well," he clarified, emphasizing their relationship.
"Why are you behaving like this today?" she asked, her tone carrying a hint of irritation.
"What's wrong with my behavior? I simply want to massage your shoulders to alleviate your pain," he explained, expressing his intention to help with her discomfort.

"We practiced for more than six months every day, and you still don't know me well. I'm not a simple man; I'm a special one, a unique piece in this world," Xu Fang teased her with a mischievous smile. "Okay, it's a deal. But you have to tell me how you manage to conceal your cultivation," she agreed, ready for the massage but with the condition of learning the secret behind his hidden cultivation.
"Then lay on the bed facing down." Xu Fang stood up and instructed her to lie on the bed.
After a few moments, she did as he said and lay on the bed, her back facing him.

"Xu Fang, you are evil, taking advantage of someone in a critical condition. Sigh... What do you need?" Long Xiu complained, sighing as she asked him about his request.
"I want you," Xu Fang replied with a serious expression.
"What? Xu Fang, do you realize what you just said? Are you kidding with me?" Long Xiu's eyes widened in shock, seeking clarification.
"What's wrong with it? You're not married anymore, and you're still young. Why waste your life? I don't want to see you live like this. That's why I want you. I promise to make you happy from now on," Xu Fang expressed his desire for her to be happy and live with him.
"Xu Fang, you know it's very embarrassing," Long Xiu voiced her concern about the potential judgment of their relationship.
"Why do you feel embarrassed? It's your life, and you have the right to live happily," Xu Fang reassured her, urging her not to let societal judgments dictate her happiness as he took a seat beside her.
"It's not easy to live happily because there are lots of people who do not accept this relationship," Long Xiu admitted, revealing the challenges she faced due to societal expectations.
"Stop thinking about other people around you and start living happily. I didn't want to see a beautiful lady like you waste her life only in fear of what others think," Xu Fang encouraged, recognizing the importance of prioritizing her happiness.
Long Xiu's heart swelled with happiness and sweet feelings when Xu Fang called her a beautiful lady, but she managed to control her emotions in front of him.
