Chapter 48: Charles Falcone

Mr. Charles Falcone sat in a wheelchair, pale and frail, but with a serene expression as he took in the sight of the hospital garden. Mr. Harrison, dressed sharply in a suit, approached him with a forced smile, his body language tense yet controlled.

Clearing his throat, Mr. Harrison asked Charles, "How are you feeling today?"

Mr. Falcone weakly smiled, "As well as I could be expected, Harrison. It's always comforting to be outside, even for a brief moment."

Mr. Harrison nodded, his eyes betraying a hint of impatience as he adjusted his tie, then took a seat beside Mr. Falcone.

Sitting down, Mr. Harrison's voice laced with false concern, he said, "I'm glad you're finding some solace in the garden, Charles. I've been handling things at the company, as you've asked."

Mr. Falcone nodded appreciatively, "Thank you, Harrison. I trust everything ran smoothly?"
