Chapter 2: ARE YOU WORTHY OF THE TITLE,..HUMANS?!
In the south-east area in Jiangxin province (Country of the red dragon)..
On the grounds of a ground zero research facility heavily guarded with an extensive amount of firepower as well as caution, a group of scientist are seen sipping on carton boxes of energy drinks as they looked towards the sky or rather the sun which was giving an unfamiliar blue glow. This change in the visuals of the sun have raised countless headaches to the scientific and the political communities.
They all knew that the glow of the sun is originally white but due to the dust levels in earth's atmosphere, it appears yellow and sometimes orange at dusk yet all of a sudden about seven years ago, the sun stared to take on an eerie blueish glow.
Scientists and mundane people alike were utterly left in confusion by this discovery as countless researches were made to provide an explanation and thus a theory was released to satiate the masses.
Since the dust levels in the air originally gave the sun its yellow-orange glow then there must be a new particle in the earths atmosphere that's constantly increasing over the years to give the suns glow a constantly deeper shade of blue, they decided to tag this particle as a new Variant of the neon elements that's constantly leaking from the earth's core, they tagged it completely unresponsive and harmless and the ignorant masses completely believed this but the true inner circles of the scientific, military and political world have just one word to classify this so called theory,..
Bullshit!..
Utter Robust And Degrading Bullshit!..
There was indeed a new particle in the atmosphere, one they couldn't capture nor could they study but one thing that for sure was that it was neither harmless nor unresponsive infact, its the total opposite of what's been told.
This new and unfamiliar particles in the air was given the code name Neo-1E05 for convenience and one thing they were able to confirm is that once if reaches a specific concentration in a particular area, this particle seems to evolve to another higher particle called Neo-1E06 which brings foreign, unpreventable as well as unpredictability changes to its environment.
Another fact they were able to luckily confirm Is that Neo-1E06 has an absurd affinity for life as it brings about mutations and evolutions unlike any level even the underground world has explored before.
With no way to capture or extensively study this particles, their major theories are all from guess work, some part of the community believes that Neo-1E05 and Neo-1E06 are fundamental building blocks of higher dimensions that's leaking into our dimensions, others believe that Neo-1E05 is a physical manifestation of space time and some spiritual fanatics even say that its comes from the rust of the door of heavens which have gotten rusty due to the lack of saints to ascend as the world is filled with sin.
No one knows the exact rate that Neo-1E05 is being released into our world but one thing that's for sure is that for sure is that earths atmosphere is soon reaching the concentration threshold for Neo-1E05 to be converted into Neo-1E06 on a planetary scale and when that happens,..
"We're doomed..", One of the female scientists present with hairs that seems to haven't been washed for months says in self resignation as she sucked on her box straw only to discover the carton empty. She mutters a 'Darn it' before angrily throwing the carton box into a near by bin.
"Seven years, fuc*king seven years of research and yet we don't even have a single page full of actual facts..", Another one of the scientists says in Mandarin language as he shakes his head in extreme frustration.
This research facility have dedicated the past seven years of its best brains and manpower to the study of Neo-1E06 as well as to develop counters to its development but even after seven years of drastic funding's as well as dedication of dozens of some of the best brains in the Eastern scientific community, the best they could present to their already pissed superiors in today's briefings is another dose of infatuating guesswork.
One of the female scientist among the group of seven could still remember the annoyed and un-expectant look that their superior gave them as he sarcastically said..
"Let me guess, more guess works right?!..
The half bald superior who could definitely afford losing a few dozen pounds said that while looking at them like a group of Curly haired baboons and that memory is something that doesn't go well in the minds of dozens of scientists who were proud geniuses in their own rights.
"I heard a rumour that the westerners have actually cracked a couple of surfaces level mysteries but they are keeping the information air-tight and that's why our superiors are getting so snappy,.. this is a major race to all major powers of the world, even the tiniest advantage is enough to amplify their already severe insomnia..", Another scientist interjected as he takes in a sip if his energy drink.
"Those bastards at the top should know better. This is highly likely to be a world scale disaster and yet all they care about is developing how to share the biggest portions of such a calamity to the sides they hate the most,.. atleast they're trying their best to protect the masses even if its for selfish reasons"
While the scientists were being bitter about their helplessness, the lights in the facility as well as in a significant part of the world suddenly fluctuated for a few seconds before stabilising but a few areas immediately experienced blackouts.
The scientists paused their actions as a frown surfaced on their faces. They knew well that the facility was built against any and all kinds of electrical interferences or destabilisation and so there were only two things that could cause such a reaction one of them is a breach and the other is a butterfly effect and the most likely butterfly effect they could think of was..
The seven scientists subconsciously looked towards the sun only to discover that its taken on a deeper shade of blue unlike anything seen before
"Fuck..", A scientist mutters in a daze, that blue shade indicates the transformation of Neo-1E05 to Neo-1E06 but only this time, its on a planetary or possibly, a universal scale.
The world have not been thrown into such a state of unrest or panic within the span of a few seconds as there was no possible explanation for such a chain of events and to make the already bad matters worse, an inhuman voice rang through the minds of every human and probably animals of the world.
"Blessed art this generation to receive the concepts of true salvation, human have long deviated from their original purpose and instincts just like most other life forms of intelligence in the dimension and galaxies but fret not, today, the shackles placed on you by the morals of you ancestors shall be removed, today, every human and being who is worthy enough would get the opportunity to make a choice, a true choice,.."
This mysterious voice seemed extremely excited for earthlings just like the ravings of a lunatic in different frequencies but that made it even scarier as the entire human population mostly fell silent in the face of such an abnormally.
"..Today, would be the start of true self exploration, are you truly as good as you think?!, Are you truly as evil as you think?!, What's the limit of you moral principles?!, Are you worthy the title,.. Humans?!!!.. What's the limit of powers that can be wielded by humans?!, WHAT IS FATE?!!!!!!
"Aren't you curious to the answers to this questions?!, Aren't you excited to discover your true selves?!,.. Well, an opportunity to find answers is before you,.. you either find or recreate a new you or die trying, a few of you would make it through but most of you would either prove too weak in the presence of temptations or too strong to uphold laughable moral principles. Some would adapt, most would stagnate, some would fall but more would rise until they've proved worthy enough to play in the real world. In fifteen minutes you'll be given this gift of choice. The blessing of power as well as the curse that comes with weakness, The fate of a world born from chaos as well as its inhabitants, Choose carefully or be chosen, fight for power or fight for morals, over come or become the ultimate stepping-stone, BESTS OF LUCK TO YOU EARTHLINGS!, WE HAVE A FEELING YOU'LL TRULY NEED IT!.

THEPENMASTER We are diving straight into the main plot without much information or characters build up but you don't have to worry much as I plan to make the main characters resonate with the audience through the course of the story.
By the hundreds chapter, each person would be able to draw a basic picture of each character in their minds.
