Chapter 50: Favour?

Once upon a time, there was this kind young kid who was loved by everyone. However, that young kid was falsely accused of a crime he didn't commit.

-tak! Tak!!

"You've now pleaded guilty, and now I will sentence you to strip your title and family name," the judge with a long white beard proclaimed as he pointed his veined hand at the kid.

"I didn't do it, I promise!" The kid desperately begged for mercy. 

But it was futile in the face of the corrupted officials who were bribed by higher-ups.

"Now, drag that sinner to an auction and let that sinner rot in hell!" The judge ordered, wearing a sly smile on his face.

"Noooo!!!"

And so the poor kid who was falsely accused was dragged into a slave auction, where he was sold.

But years later, the sinner was once again imprisoned and sold. Imprisoned and sold, the endless circle repeats.

That unfortunate kid's name is...

"Ezryn..."

"Ezryn!!"
