Chapter 60: Unable to retort

When you do something repeatedly, it becomes an instinct. So Ravi took the emotion and buried it so deep in the creases of his heart that it might as well not exist.

He took a deep breath and looked up to see Arlen looking at him.

"I will take my leave now, Ma'am. Thank you for your cooperation." He bowed slightly and waved goodbye to the woman who smiled at him.

"Haha! It is no problem. Please come again." She escorted him out of the one store building with a cream and blue painting, a small black gate and a small yard. They were so similar that they looked like they might have been printed by a photocopying machine.

They walked out of the gate, Ravi closed the note and switched off the voice recording.

"What were you thinking about so hard?" Arlen asked, he turned to him, flicking his head.

"Ouch!" Ravi muttered even though it did not hurt.
