Chapter 12: Scroll

I said I won't be releasing any chapters, but anyway, here is the new chapter. I hope you enjoy it. Oh, and by the way, I want to inform you all Yuuya won't have any innate curse technique of his own. You know how broken Yuuya's character is, being able to master anything and copy any technique or move he sees once, with so much growth potential. I don't want to give him any innate technique, as it would mean granting him a single technique to focus on, which doesn't suit Yuuya's abilities. So, I want him to learn more by observing others and create his own OP techniques.

'Huh?'
As Yuuya stood in front of a scroll inside the empty storage room, he suddenly sensed his curse energy beginning to rage wildly.
A glowing red-colored aura with black streaks began to overflow from Yuuya's body, surrounding him as if reacting to something.
The scroll, kept on an empty shelf, as if sensing Yuuya's curse energy, began to levitate in the air, reacting to Yuuya's curse energy, which began to flood over towards the scroll.
The scroll shone with a grim crimson-colored aura before releasing a blinding flash of white light, causing Yuuya to instinctively close his eyes. When he opened them again, his eyes flew open wide with astonishment as he saw the scene in front of him.
Out of surprise, Yuuya instinctively jumped backward, surprised at the appearance of the translucent human that appeared out of nowhere.
Reaching over in the air, Yuuya summoned [Omni Sword] from his item box, taking a defensive stance against the image.
"My name is Tenjou Kuuya..."
Before Yuuya could say anything, the translucent human that was dressed like a nobleman of the Heian period, something rarely seen in this era, spoke.
"If you are seeing this recording, it means I'm dead..."
As the man said, the recording continued and kept giving Yuuya more and more information about itself without stopping.
To summarize the contents of the recording, this recording is created by Tenjou Kuuya, the man whose projection is in front of Yuuya, who proclaims himself as one of the strongest sorcerers who was born during the Heian Period.
The recording was created by Tenjou Kuuya for his descendants to listen after his death who has inherited body constitution similar to him, before he goes on for his battle against a very dangerous opponent and the strongest sorcerers of his era, the King Of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna.
During the golden age of jujutsu when Ryomen Sukuna reigned supreme with his vile ways, there were other sorcerers who didn't like his ways.
Many of those sorcerers were just unhappy with Sukuna's power, but there were some who stood with justice and righteousness who couldn't bear the pain others were going through under Sukuna's reign. Amongst them was Tenjou Kuuya.
Tenjou Kuuya self-proclaimed himself as a strong sorcerer of his era and after having enough of Sukuna, he decided to challenge Sukuna in a battle.
Even though Kuuya challenged Sukuna, he couldn't be sure whether he would win or not against him. Hence, Kuuya decided to record this final message along with his lifelong knowledge about curse energy and techniques to pass down to his descendants who would inherit his constitution in the future if anything were to happen to him.
As soon as the projection stopped speaking, the recording stopped, and the projection disappeared, but the scroll kept hovering in the air.
"..."
Yuuya couldn't help but be silent after hearing what the recording said as thousands of thoughts ran through his head.
'..This is completely different from the novel.'
What Yuuya meant by the novel was about the same scroll mentioned in Yuuya's plot.
The scroll in the novel supposed to contain a soul projection of Tenjou Kuuya like Souls of perverted grandpas in the rings of Chinese protagonists.
Tenjou Kuuya in the novel was a soul body of the real Tenjou Kuuya who had died thousands of years ago and was hailed as the strongest sorcerer in the novel of 'I got cheat ability in another world' [A/N: It's a long As Name so from now on I will use short form as IGCA]
Damon who had inhabited Yuuya's body, knowing about this plot though wondered would it be true in this world too. This is the world of JJK where Sukuna is believed to be the strongest curse of all time which he is now tasked to defeat. For a moment, Yuuya wondered that maybe the scroll or Kuuya won't exist in this world but now after gaining the information that Tenjou Kuuya was a being who once existed and even fought against Sukuna during his prime albeit he was defeated it was still a surprise for Yuuya.
'..The higher beings had sure done some wild mess up here'
This was naturally the work of higher beings in Yuuya's opinion who made the existence of Tenjou Kuuya and his constitution possible in this world.
'..whatever the mess they created about, this scroll sure would be a great help.'
Originally, Yuuya thought that he would also gain a grandpa in the scroll who would teach him more about curse energy making it possible for Yuuya to learn more about sorcerers without attending Jujutsu High. But now, there is no soul body Kuuya to be present in the scroll but rather just his teaching and knowledge about CE.
'..And I think I prefer this over some random ancestor'
Gaining a random ancestor that too like Kuuya would be a headache for Yuuya so this scroll which only contains his teachings is rather more suitable for Yuuya's taste.
'...Even though fighting against Sukuna... That too for the sake of others who are completely unrelated to him isn't this idiotic?'
Yuuya who doesn't believe much in helping others and being righteous doesn't understand why would someone would risk their life for the sake of others unrelated to them.
In Yuuya's opinion one should mind their own business gaining power and influence while not minding about the world and in this world of JJK where strength is everything this belief should be more widespread but then also there are still cases like Kuua present.
'..Previous Yuuya also was like this.'
The original Tenjou Yuuya was also like this who would just jump into any trouble with righteous and push over personality who believed in helping others.
It was the teaching of Yuuya's grandfather who like him also was an annoying piece of shit believing in helping everyone getting trouble and also raised Yuuya to be like this too.
'...Sigh these grandpas in animes are the root of all problems
Yuuya's grandfather and also Itadori Yuji's grandfather was also like this asking Yuji to help others in his last moment resulting in Yuji's life to become as it was.
But Yuuya now isn't the original Yuuya not Yuji who thinks of helping everyone and want unnecessary troubles. If possible, Yuuya would like to live a life of comfort with all the abilities he got far away from likes of Sukuna but knowing the future about what's going to happen and the mission of defeating Sukuna he received which promised Yuuya his freedom he is willing to work as hard as possible and face against Sukuna.
'...I will sure to achieve it'
