...

"Whaaaaaa~"

"Waaaaaw~"

Cries of a newborn reverberated throughout the room as James watched Sirius try and pick up Harry. His friend was having no success and trying to calm him down so Lily took Harry back from him.

"Hahaha, it seems like your godson doesn't like you, Sirius," James didn't waste any time in taunting Sirius. The Black-haired man glared at him as he huffed.

"Here, take Rigel he's a lot calmer than Harry," James said as he extended Rigel toward his best friend. Sirius was a little hesitant but his eagerness to hold his godson got the better of him as he quickly extended his hands.

Sirius looked down as he stared into two emerald-colored orbs, the eyes that were comically big for his face stared at him for a moment before Rigel extended his hand toward his face.

"Chalrus is saying hello Sirius, pull your face a little closer," James spoke guiding his friend along. He looked as his son gently patted his best friend. If James was completely serious, he knew right away to whom the Prophecy that had been gathering dust in the Potter manor applied.

While he was no expert on babies, neither Lily nor him had been ready for the twins. He could still see just how unnatural Rigel's behavior was, even in one day he could tell that his son was different.

At first, he was worried that Rigel was born deaf, the quietness was seen in newborn babies who are deaf since birth since they were not aware that sounds exist. But Rigel reacted to his voice when he tried to talk to him. It wasn't just his unnatural quietness that worried him, he seemed to be too aware of his surroundings.

From yesterday till today, he had cried just 3 times, only when he was hungry and his cries seemed more like shouts of attention. He only really cried once, with tears and the whole package, and that was just after he was born.

"I like Rigel much better," His friend proclaimed and James rolled his eyes at him. A glare shut up the stupid grin on his face and just when he was about to speak, the wards informed him that someone was coming.

Sirius likely noticed the change in his face as he stood up as well, though Sirius remained rooted in place as he looked around for a place to put Rigel down.

"Relax it was the floo network, I'll check just in case," James spoke as he motioned for Sirius to stay. He walked out of the main bedroom and looked at the two people that had appeared in the Living room.

He sighed in relief and put away his wand, "Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, I didn't know you were coming?"

"Sirius informed me of the birth of the Potter Twins, Congratulations," Dumbledore spoke, his tone was a little reserved which alarmed James a little bit. Still, before he could question if Voldemort had attacked again Professor McGonagall interrupted him, "I have already told you many times now that I'm not your Professor anymore, you can call me by my name James... Now take me to see them."

Even if Minerva wanted to ease the tension, her strict voice didn't help much. Still, clear instructions helped somewhat as he led them back into the master bedroom. As he entered the room he noticed that Rigel was already lying down on the bed with Sirius standing between Lily, the kids, and the door.

He gave his friend and smile and a nod ignoring the voice that was screaming at him that something was up. Sirius put away his wand when he saw Professor Dumbledore and Minerva enter and seeing his old professor he couldn't help but jab, "How's it going Minnie?"

The glare he received shut him up for a moment as the pause in the room was broken down by Dumbledore quietly asking, "Can I talk to you three for a moment? Minerva would take care of the twins don't worry."

The nagging voice was screaming at James again and after sharing a look with Lily he nodded, "Okay."

The three of them walked out of the room, with Lily showing the most resistance. Since yesterday she had gotten attached to Harry and Charlyus and the thought of leaving them alone terrified her. She felt a warm hand grabbing hold of her as James slotted himself beside her. As she basked in the comfort for a moment she couldn't help but ask, "What happened Professor Dumbledore?"

The old wizard pulled out his wand and started waving it around in intricate patterns. Although James couldn't see anything happen around them, he was pretty sure that they were being put under a very advanced privacy charm.

'What happened, surely he isn't taking these measures against Professor McGongall's eavesdropping?' James thought but he didn't speak out. Albus continued his preparations for a couple more moments before he finally stopped.

James could see his shoulders sag and his premonition was likely going to come true. Something very very wrong must have happened for Dumbledore to react like that.

"Some time ago I was interviewing to fill in the position of Divination Professor at Hogwarts..." Albus began, he got three confused looks but none of them spoke to interrupt him. "...While I was suspect that it might be a hoax, a Prophecy was made during this interview, one whose validity that I personally checked in the Department of Mysteries."

James could feel his stomach drop as an icy coldness gripped him. He could feel Lily grab onto his hand tighter as Albus continued, "...A Prophecy was made that foretold the Dark Lord's demise, the prophecy talked of a savior, someone who would vanquish the Dark Lord, which could be narrowed down to two candidates."

"Noo..." Lily whispered, her eyes pleading for Albus to stop talking but unfortunately, it wasn't something that went in their favor.

"And according to one of my spies, the Dark Lord already knows about the Prophecy, or at least the first two lines of it," Albus spoke and James had to support Lily as she lost her balance. Her eyes are a little dazed as the smartest witch of their generation is already coming to a horrible conclusion.

A conclusion that they had already reached with James and something that Dumbledore echoed, "I'm afraid it's time you went into hiding..."

...

"What was the Prophecy?"
