Chapter 18: _ A villain’s POV

A Villain's POV

Watching her has got to be the most boring thing he'd ever had to do. However, she was the closest person to his target. He had to penetrate her and begin his mission with his target.

The Wolves – they all had no idea how many of them had infiltrated their packs, planted in by their master. He specifically had to be in the Ravenwood's pack for this big job. The attack on that restaurant was all a part of the scheme.

It was, however, the reason why he was on the path of fulfilling the mission bestowed on him. First, he had to keep a keen eye on Isleen Gracia. He couldn't do much since he needed to be wary of the sun.

Hence, he waited until nighttime and followed a wolf who was walking alone on a lone road. The girl had sensed him following her and she halted, calling him out.

"Hey, who are you?"

He didn't answer and remained in the shadows.

She turned around this time, eyes searching for him. "Cut the crap and come out. I know you're following me."

"My apologies, ma dame." He stepped onto the road.

He was a tall, lean figure who wore a faded grey leather jacket that hung open over a plain black shirt. His dark cargo pants were tucked in his weathered boots. His face was buried under a hoodie and as he stepped into view for her, he kept his neck bent.

She had an attitude. "And you are…?"

"Someone who needs something from you." He began to advance to her.

He could smell the fear brewing within her. He heard the sound of her claws elongating.

"Hey, stay back or I'm going to scratch you!" She warned but he acted like he didn't hear.

Finally, when he was a few feet away from her, she made to shift into her wolf form and howl but that was when he used his speed and pounced on her.

He couldn't afford her alerting her kind. This was to be a silent task all through. As he flung on her, he wrapped one of his hands around her neck from behind. She attempted to wriggle herself free, her wolf energy surmounting.

She was strong — he'd give her that. Sad that he was way stronger.

He grabbed her other hand when she tried to dig her claws into him with it and held it high, far away from reaching him.

"You are one stubborn lassie, ma dame." He breathed into her neck, his tongue licking the sweat off her nape.

Groaning, "You—you're a vampire." She spat.

"Ah — yes, Wolfie. A vampire, I am." He chuckled, tongue still licking her.

Once again, she strained and fought to yank him off. He pressed her tighter into him. "You are going nowhere, manquer." He spoke French into her hair, sniffing her animal scent in.

"What do you want from me, you dark creature?!" She hollered amidst gritted teeth.

A mockery chuckle escaped his lips. "I need your skin but then, I'm hungry." He declared.

"What are you talking about? Vampires can't drink werewolf blood." She blurted as though he were a moron.

He tilted his head, his bone crackling with the motion. "Well, not me." He gnashed his teeth into her neck, draining and drinking the blood from it while she shuddered, whimpering and jerking to set herself free.

He drank and drank until her wolf blood began to seep from his teeth, dripping onto her clothes and filling him up. Slowly, her energy began to deteriorate until she could no longer fight back.

"Come on now," He withdrew his teeth from her neck and licked the blood that was dripping down her clothes. "I need that cloth clean." He sighed and dropped her almost lifeless body on the floor.

She landed with a loud thud, silently whimpering. Her hands cupped the bite mark and she began to sluggishly crawl away. He followed her, taking slow steps. This was the part of killing that he liked the most.

He'd leave his victims almost half-dead and watch pain take over every of their fiber while they feel their essence – their life slowly drifting away from them. How they'd whimper in pain, struggling to hold on and yearning for help and escape.

"You know, pain is my drive." He wiped his mouth with his sleeve and said to her.

She continued to crawl away in the little ways that she could.

"You definitely are one fighter." He nodded, still following her.

Her entire senses were charged at escaping even as her blood dripped and followed her on a path. His entertainment was cut short when he heard approaching footsteps.

"Argh. Scratch that." He picked her up and sped out of view.

It was hard sifting silently and escaping the Ravenwood pack's soldiers. Not with him carrying this almost-dead girl. However, he was able to find a secluded wood.

There, he threw her on the leaves-littered floor and stood above her. The pain in her eyes was rooted deeply in her irises. As he bent to scrutinize her face, he gave her a broad grin.

"You know, this was very fun to watch." He clicked his tongue. "Tsk, tsk, tsk. So bad it has to end now. Goodbye." He blew her a kiss and snapped her neck off.

She died right instantly.

"Now, for the disgusting part." He sighed and rubbed his palms together, wondering where he needed to start eating from.

He slanted his hips and put his hands on it. "I'll go with the head first."

He cracked her head away from her neck, blood oozing all over him. "Even after drinking so much of her blood, she still has this much left." He noted with amusement.

He chewed her head off and then proceeded to eat the rest of her body. This was the disgusting part of his special ability. He had to eat his victim's flesh until they were reduced to bones to steal their appearance.

Yes; he was a special vampire – one in a million years to possess a special ability. Not only could he drink Werewolf's blood, but he could also shapeshift into whoever he killed and ate their flesh.

Finally, when the dead Wolf girl had been reduced to bones and his stomach full of her flesh, his skin began to morph into hers. He held out his hands to watch the pinkish feminine flesh and complexion take over.

His bones crackled, bent, and shifted into her form, leaving him to clench his jaw just to suppress the groans. Such was usually as excruciating for him too. It was the side effect of his ability.

Finally, when the transformation was over, he flipped his hair and found the bouncing feminine hair full on his head.

"Done finding a vessel. Time to proceed." A hysterical laugh reverberated from him.
