Chapter 30: The Friendly Transmigrator

"Oh, my master. This student of yours was blind not to recognize your greatness." Arthur shouted at the top of his lungs while everyone had a smirk on their face as they stared at Arthur.

'The power of his martial arts are different than the martial arts of the ones with martial class back in Gaia.' Arthur showed keen interest in the flick that had sent him flying over twenty feet.

"Student? Master?" Truce Lee was taken back, especially by the look of admiration in Arthur's eyes.

Truce Lee was the martial master of Earth. Though, he himself didn't know about his title of the martial master but Arthur knew of it. Now, Arthur was finally realizing the true meaning behind Truce's title.

Truce looked at Arthur and suddenly laughed before saying, "I had forgotten one thing that even I had done back in my younger days."

"Unbound Shamelessness." Truce Lee looked at Arthur while reminiscing his own past.

"One of the greatest martial arts master, Li Er, had presented me with the same offer that I had presented you with. Funnily, I had reacted to it just like you, and, after he showed me his strength and the strength of his martial arts, I had said the same line to him that you have said to me!" said Truce with a smile as he put special emphasis on the name of the master.

While listening to Truce, Arthur watched the Heaven's Eye opening up.

( You have learned about a Transcendent residing in the Lower Heavens! )

( You have learned of the God of Martial Mastery, Li Er! )

( The Transcendent Li Er feels his presence growing but he can't seem to find about the one who has learned of him! )

( The Transcendent, Li Er, is looking for you, the one who has learned of his presence! )

'Transcendent being!?' Arthur looked at the script and then back at the one who had been offered, apprenticeship, by such a being.

"Though, I still called him my master, but he never took me in as his student after my initial rejection." Truce told Arthur with a vanishing smile.

"Why did your master not take you in as his student when he was the one who had offered you to become his student?" Arthur showed keen interest in his new master as Truce had already taken over the position of 'Master' in Arthur's mind.

"Because some chances comes only once!"

"That's also why we have missed the chance to become master and student!" Truce told Arthur who looked devoid of expression.

'Well, that isn't bad either.' Arthur thought to himself instantly, because the fifth trial was still something that Truce was going to assess him in.

'While he is taking this trial, I will learn everything I can!' Arthur mumbled while to Truce, it looked like Arthur's lips were quivering.

"What have I done? Did I break the young man's heart..." said Truce, while looking at the trembling mouth of Arthur who was simply just mumbling to himself silently.

"Be like water." Truce suddenly said while placing his palm on Arthur's shoulder.

"Don't worry. If I can end up here, as a warrior, then you too can reach a height that no one can...without becoming my student!" Truce spoke from his heart as if he wasn't talking to Arthur, but talking to his own younger self, who had missed a similar chance.

"I will be like water...Master!" Arthur replied while clasping his hands just like how a student of martial arts would.

"Hahaha." Truce couldn't help but let out a gentle laugh while patting Arthur's shoulder.

"Just like you considered him your master, I will consider you my master!" Arthur told Truce Lee with a cheeky smile, that would be wiped off clean with just a flick, but Truce was also liking the audacity and shamelessness that Arthur was displaying.

"Good. You have become my unofficial student. So, don't let me down today and in the following six day," said Truce to Arthur who had already wiped his cheeky smile on his own.

Arthur was not smiling only because of the Heaven's Eye that had opened up once again.

( You have unlocked an achievement by becoming the unofficial student of Earth's Martial Master! )

"I unlocked another achievement!" Arthur said while glancing at the script.

( Achievement Unlocked: Friendly Transmigrator 'F'! )

"Friendly transmigrator...hahaha!" Arthur laughed in his mind like a maniac, he didn't know what benefits these achievements provided him, but he definitely felt satisfied by the title of the achievement.

( Friendly Transmigrator is a 'Graded' achievement! )

"A graded achievement?" Arthur looked back at the title he had gained, and realized that the 'F' at the end of his title actually had a meaning to it.

( The grade will increase from F to E, once four more acquaintances bestow you with a title that binds your fate with theirs! )

"Interesting." As Arthur contemplated, he glanced around, realizing that meeting the condition was achievable if he could establish a strong relation with the other warriors of the Building.

Looking back at Truce Lee, Arthur lowered his head.

"I won't let you down, master!" Arthur replied with confidence and that was how he stepped on the journey of becoming just like water.

Unlike the third and fourth trial, trials of Diet and Top G, the trial of mastery went straight on for an hour.

In an hour, the sound of bones cracking, muscles tearing apart, a teens uncountable and horrifying screams, and the sounds of different types of metals clanking, could be heard spreading around loudly on the second floor of the building, The Building.

Truce with an unhinged expression looked at Arthur who was lying on the floor with his eyes closed.

"You didn't let me down." Truce said to Arthur whose shirt was ripped from different places.

Arthur slowly opened his eye and they were full of respect and fear for Truce.

Truce who hadn't even broken a single sweat after beating and training Arthur like a pig for an hour. Arthur only had a single conclusive thought in his mind.
