Chapter 4: Resolution
Alex thought after seeing the notification that the system knew what was on his mind and gave the mission.
"'So, I have to start my Business, huh? Well, I always wanted to own a Coffee shop. So, what's the better way to start this life than owning a Coffee shop.'
'Wait a minute… Level?... That's right! I still didn't see my level and status.

Alex analyzed his status, and it was basically what he was expecting.
'System, what are the normal attributes of someone of my age?'

'So, basically, I'm physically weak but smart. And I look better than average. "I can fix this,' he thought.
'In my past life, I was an average person with average intelligence and average looks.' He was very happy after seeing his situation.
"At least I am handsome than my last life." he thought.
Alex looked at the clock, and it was almost time for Aria to get home. He looked at himself and was disgusted by all the sweat he had worked up in the last few hours after the predecessor and he crossed over.
He stood up and went to the bathroom to take a shower before Aria got home.
As he was in the bathroom, he heard the front door opening, and that was probably his sister, so he finished his shower dressed up in the bathroom and came out with his hair still wet.
When Alex exited the bathroom, he saw a young girl with silver hair the same hair color as his hair and two charming blue eyes, who, although sickly thin, was a beauty nonetheless.
She was healthier than he was, and it was when he realized the determination of his predecessor to take care of his sister. He would rather starve than let her starve.
And he found even more determination in making Aria live the life of a princess.
She was sitting on the couch watching TV when she saw her brother exit the bathroom. She saw that her brother was looking better today than yesterday when she was afraid that her brother would fall at any moment. He looked at her with the same affection and wonder as if they were meeting for the first time, and it made her heart skip a beat. She turned her face while blushing to avoid seeing into his golden eyes.
"Hey, sis, how are you? I am gonna make dinner, wait half an hour, and we can eat," he asked her as he looked at her.
"Thanks, bro, I am okay. I'm just a little tired after studying all day," she said as she watched him going into the corner of the room, which had a mini kitchen where they cooked their meals.
'Thank God, there are still some leftovers this month so Aria and I can eat for a couple more days. But after that, I have to make more money,' he thought as he was cooking.
After half an hour of cooking a simple meal, Alex called Aria, and he had a hearty meal with a sister that Alex never had the pleasure to have in his past life. During the meal, Alex was so emotional that he started tearing up.
It was his first meal with his sister, and it was only a little bit of food, but she ate like it was the best food in the world.
Aria noticed him crying; she came behind my chair and hugged him from behind.
"Sis, I am sorry for not doing enough and making you eat so little," Alex said in the middle of sobs.
"Big Brother, never say that again!!!" She retorted while crying too.
"Big brother, I know everything you do for me, and I couldn't ask for a better brother, so please don't say that again." She cried.
Alex resolved in his heart to never starve Aria for food and give her everything she needed to live a life like a princess.
"Sister, I give you my word that things will get better for us starting now, and we'll become rich. Thank you for always being with me during these difficult times," he said with determination.
"Alex, I have always believed you," she said smiling.
They hugged for a few more minutes, then they separated to clean the dishes. After cleaning the dishes, Aria went to the only private bedroom of the 2-bedroom apartment, which I gave her because girls need privacy, to study. And he took a futon and put it in front of the TV as he drifted to sleep.
Today was a crazy day, and he was exhausted.
