Chapter 31: 31. Success
The Chis have finished their dinner and resting afterwards in their living room. The twins were spending their nights with Chi Lan and his husband at their home.
"Father."
"Yes, Lulu."
"Thank you."
"For?"
"For advising me to double the production quantities. It what saved me when I got the second orders."
"Don't mention my dear. There'll be many things that you'll learn along the way. Don't fear if you get stuck, we'll be there to guide you all the way."
"Mother."
"Yes, dear."
"I have a request."
"What is it?"
"I would like you to help me with the work. I will pay you double the usual salary."
"What can I offer you with my old bones?"
"It's a supervisory position."
"I will if you don't pay me."
"Then it becomes an exploit. I also refuse if you'll not accept pay."
"Then pay the usual salary."
"Okay deal. Hey, wait. What aboutthe twins? Who will take care of them?"
"Brother-in-law has offered to but I'll hire a help to assist us with them. I'll hire four more people to help with the business."
"I think it's a good idea, Lui.", Muchen chipped in.

Three Weeks Later...
"How were your travels?",Yun Lui asked.
"They were great. The products were successful. It even helped increase my customer base.
I will have to take five times the previous order. I will once they're ready. When can I expect them?", Papa Jin said excitedly.
"This afternoon." Yun Lui replied.
"What? How? It's eleven am now. It's only less than an hour to noon. Are you teasing?" Papa Jin asked, surprised.
"Nope. I am really serious. I have ten times your previous order in stock. I learned the hard way not to relax, so production is always going on, since the products are doing well and also non perishable.
I have workers now. So you better be ready to distribute them. I'm doing my part, now it's left with you.", Yun Lui said with a small smile.
"Wow. I'm impressed. I was thinking you're going to take at least a month.You're full of surprises aren't you?", Papa Jin asked.
"Like I said I have learned the hard way.", Yun Lui responded.
"Okay. So I'll have my agent at the guild pay the money to your agent at your guild. Once you've confirmed the payment, let me know. I'll expect my goods in three days' time. I'm here now so I'll spend some days before I set off.

Nine Months Later...A Week Before Present time (From Chap 9)...
With everything well set in place now, Yun Lui was so happy. 'I only wish that I have my memories or my other family. I will be fully satisfied.' He thought.

Yun Lui continued to live a well fulfilling life with the Chis all these past four years without any of his memories. He is beginning to accept that this may be his life forever, which he didn't mind much.
He has it better than most people. He's surrounded by such wonderful people as his family. He and his twins are protected, loved and cared for. He couldn't ask for anything more, could he?.

Back To The Present...
He was okay until they met those two men at the market today, who seem to know him from the past.
His adopted father, Papa Chi had gone on a diplomatic trip, so he wouldn't be able to seek his opinion.
He'll have to listen to his adopted mother then, and see those two men tomorrow at nine o'clock am, to see how it will go, as his mother has advised.

Chap 7:
"Are you done?" Chi Muchen asked.
"Yes. Let us go. Mama will be worried if we are late again." Yun Lui. He waved Papa Gu goodbye, dragged her brother out of the shop and together they left.
"Yun Lui.", the voice from earlier called him again and rushed towards him as soon as they had taken a few steps after stepping out of the shop.
"Do I know you?", Yun Lui asked with his eyebrows raised.
"Erm, yes?", the strange man answered with a hurt and confused expression plastered on his face.
Upon hearing his answer and seeing the expression on his face, Yun Lui believed that perhaps he and this man before him might have known each other, hence why he seemed like he was hurt because he could not recognise him.
It was moments such as this that made Yun Lui feel bad that he does not remember any of his past. "I am so sorry that I cannot recognise you please. I have no recollection of my past memories please."
"Oh, now that makes sense. No wonder. My brother and your family have been searching for you for the past four years. Do you know my brother have been banished from coming back home until you're found, safe and sound, by our parents?".
Yun Lui :(...?).
Chap 8:
"Xu An, what are you doing there? Hurry and...Yun Lui?". The source of the voice rushed to the group and held Yun Lui's shoulders.
Yun Lui pried the stranger's hands away from him.
"It seems you might be acquaintances of Yun Lui. Why don't we find a place to sit and talk?". Chi Muchen said.
"No, we're already late. We need to go home now before mama gets worried". Yun Lui said worriedly.
"Then how about we schedule for a meeting here tomorrow? What do say?", Muchen asked looking at the strangers. Yun Lui has left his brother to deal with the two strangers.
"Yes. Yes. Tomorrow is great. Will nine O'clock in the morning be okay then?", the first stranger asked.
Chap 9:
So I think you should meet with those two men tomorrow and let's see whatever information we can get from them. Then we will know what to do next. Okay?", mama Chi said.
Yun Lui knew that she was waiting his answer with her gaze totally fixed on him. Sighed, "Okay mommy. If you think so. I'll meet with them together with brother tomorrow then."
And with that, mama Chi hugged him and they all retired for bed for the night.
