Chapter 46: Chapter 169 Hey, Mihawk, Our Team Up Will Make A Great Fuss!

Beehive Island is a famous pirate paradise in the New World.

Many years ago, this place was the base of the Rocks Pirates. Later, the Rocks Pirate disbanded, and the big pirate Ochoku occupied this place, so this place became Ochoku's domain.

However, because of the special nature of the island itself, there are many pirates coming and going, even for Ochoku, it is impossible to create some form of rules on the Island.

Therefore, Beehive Island is an open and inclusive pirate island.

The last known sighting of Bullet was on Beehive Island. He departed from there and traveled to Circle Island, indicating that the distance between Beehive Island and Circle Island is not very far.

At this time Doflamingo is on this island.

After leaving Sengoku's Fleet, Doflamingo inexplicably felt a bit restless, so instead of immediately returning to Dressrosa, he decided to wander around the area.

After some wandering, Doflamingo found himself at the desolate location of Beehive Island.

Upon arrival, it was nighttime, yet Beehive Island was brightly lit and bustling with activity. From the air, Doflamingo could discern the raucous vulgarity of pirates, their boisterous laughter, the sounds of brawls, and gunshots echoing in the distance.

Obviously, the Pirate Paradise is naturally very free and chaotic.

And similar to Rock's crew back then, there seems to be only one rule on this Beehive island, that is, you can't attack Ochoku's subordinates!

Anyone who dares to attack Ochoku's people will be considered as declaring war on Ochoku.

Taking advantage of the darkness, Doflamingo landed at a corner of the street, and when he emerged, he naturally blended into this lively neighborhood.

Pirates in groups of twos and threes hooked their shoulders, drank wine, bragged, and danced in the street.

If they encounter individuals who dislike each other, they may draw their swords and face off.

Their attacks are fierce, often resulting in a flurry of strikes where a white blade enters and a red one emerges, claiming a life in the process.

But even in the event of a death, the nearby vendors and other bystanders on the street do not seem to panic or express alarm. On the contrary, they watch the scuffle with excitement, as if it were just another spectacle, and not a matter of great concern.

In about ten minutes or so, a team from Beehive Island will come over and drag the corpse away, and then there will be no more disturbance.

For some reason, looking at such a bloody and chaotic island, Doflamingo's restless mood seems to be gradually dissipating.

It was as if his bloodthirsty soul, which was born evil, had been relieved a little bit.

Crossing the street, he pushed open the door of a lively tavern, and Doflamingo walked in naturally.

No one here paid attention to who enters. It seems that some sort of fierce competition is being held inside. A large group of people gathered around a table, shouting and laughing excitedly!

"550,000 berries! 550,000 berries on!"

The man with the revolver loaded a bullet into one of the chambers and then said, "Take a good look. Among the five chambers, this bullet is the only one, correct?"

As he said that, he also showed his revolver to everyone in the Bar.

The others nodded in agreement, and the man then inserted the cylinder into the gun, gave it a quick spin, causing the chambers to shuffle rapidly.

"One shot for five hundred and fifty thousand Berrys, who dares to participate!?" The strong man raised his revolver and shouted excitedly.

As the crowd watched in anticipation, the scar-faced man, perhaps fueled by alcohol or a penchant for excitement, boldly reached out, grasped the revolver, and pressed it against his temple. With a swift motion, he pulled the trigger.

Click, empty!

The expression on the scarred face became extremely excited, and he shouted: "Hahahahaha, pay me the money, pay me the money!!!"

The strong man, unperturbed, retrieved 550,000 Baileys from the pile of money thrown by the spectators and tossed it to the scar-faced individual. "You've earned your keep," he remarked. "Now, for the next round, we're upping the stakes to 600,000 Baileys. Who's brave enough to step up?"

After finishing speaking, he also shouted at the surrounding pirates: "Hurry up, hurry up, the prize pool is about to run out of money, if you're cowards hurry up and throw some reward money here!"

The spectators, undeterred by the taunts of being called "cowards," gleefully tossed their Berrys onto the table, eager to partake in the ensuing spectacle.

Soon, a large pile of money was gathered.

Doflamingo found it interesting. After a while, he also threw a wad of Berrys into it, and then wondered if his money was cursed. As soon as he threw the money in, the challenger this time directly shot his brains out.

As the game proceeds smoothly, cheers erupt from the crowd; however, with someone meeting their demise, the excitement among the surrounding pirates only intensifies!

Amidst the cacophony of shouts, everyone hurried to assist, swiftly moving the unfortunate man's body from the table and threw it in a vacant corner.

When the chips increased to 900,000 Berrys, another one died.

"One million Berries on the line, two bullets in the chamber! Who's up for it?" The strong man announced, adding another bullet to the revolver, now doubling the odds of a fatal shot.

However, there was still someone who was bold and dared to go up, and Doflamingo once again felt the madness of the pirates who drank too much!

Soon, there was a bang, and the first challenger was killed on the spot.

"Okay!" The strong man laughed loudly, and then shouted: "Three million Berries, three bullets! Does anyone dare!?"

"Hey, the money on the table is not enough for three million?" a pirate shouted.

The strong man glanced around and casually placed his gold pendant on the table and declared, "Come on, come on! Three million Berries, let's see who's brave enough!"

Doflamingo, feeling a bit bored with the spectacle, decided not to participate further. He strolled over to the bar counter, where a middle-aged man was busy wiping glasses. "Got any recommendations?" he asked casually. "Let's have a drink."

"Oh." The uncle raised his head calmly, glanced at Doflamingo, and said in surprise: "Oh, I didn't expect such a big name to show up..."

Being the proprietor of the tavern on Beehive Island, Uncle Jiu was accustomed to observing and listening to everything around him. With a keen eye, he recognized Doflamingo's identity at once.

Not daring to neglect Doflamingo, soon, the uncle served Doflamingo with a glass of wine.

"Do they play like this every day?" Doflamingo asked, pointing to the group of crazy guys behind him.

"Almost." The bartender said with a smile.

"Who is organizing the event? Or is there any interest?" Doflamingo asked casually.

"There is no organization, and there is no interest. It's just a vulgar game played by a group of idle pirates who don't care about their lives." The bartender shook his head.

"That's really..." Doflamingo opened his mouth, wanting to describe the situation, but in the end he didn't know how to describe this group of guys.

After shaking his head, Doflamingo took a sip of his wine, then smacked his lips and said, "It's really bad."

"To be honest, because of your status, this is already the best wine I can offer." The uncle bartender said helplessly.

"Fufufufufu..." Doflamingo waved his hands with a smile, seeming not to care about anything, but soon took another sip.

He turned around, leaned against the counter, looked at the group of pirates who were playing games, and was a little lost in thought...

At this moment, a figure suddenly smashed the door of the tavern and rolled in.

The bartender behind Doflamingo had seen such a sight countless times and didn't even bother to shout, he just shook his head to himself, not intending to speak at all.

Doflamingo was feeling a little lost when a figure came in from the shattered door of the tavern.

The figure stepped on the body lying on the ground, and walked in gracefully and calmly.

When Doflamingo saw him, his eyes lit up and he said, "Hey, Mihawk!"

That's right, the person who walked in was none other than Mihawk carrying his black blade Yoru.

Hearing someone call his name surprised Mihawk. Following the voice, he found Doflamingo leaning on the bar counter.

Mihawk, who was originally indifferent, had a rare smile on his face. He strode up to Doflamingo and asked, "Doflamingo, why are you here?"

"Walking around, I happened to settle here today." Doflamingo responded with a smile, and then asked, "What about you? Why are you here?"

Mihawk responded calmly: "The vice-captain of the Arcstar Pirates, known as the Swordsman of the Raging Sea, Vicky Ristel, is here. I'm looking for him."

Doflamingo nodded, for Mihawk, it's normal to run around chasing swordmen in the sea.

He vaguely remembers that when this guy first entered the New World, he challenged five Marine Vice Admirals in a row because there were more renown swordsmen in the Marines. At that stage, he was called a "Marine Hunter" by the Marines.

But in the next moment, Doflamingo reacted and asked in surprise, "What pirates?"

"Arcstar Pirates, what's wrong?" Mihawk asked with a calm expression.

Doflamingo rubbed his chin and said, "If I remember correctly, the Arcstar Pirates...the captain is Ochoku, right?"

"That's right, this is the base camp of the Arc Star Pirates, otherwise why would I come here to find that Vicky Ristel?" Mihawk said with a neutral look.

Doflamingo looked Mihawk up and down, finally shook his head and said: "So, you are going to make a big fuss on Ochoku's basecamp?"

"I won't be so rude, I'll send a letter of challenge." Mihawk frowned and retorted.

"And what if he doesn't agree to fight you?" Doflamingo asked again.

"I already gave him a heads-up" Mihawk said very arrogantly.

"Fufufufufu..." Doflamingo laughed loudly when he heard this, and after a long time, he drank the drink in his hand and said, "It really fits your style, such an arrogant move..."

"Whether you are a swordsman or a pirate, you should have no scruples about these two identities." Mihawk said casually. Hearing this, Doflamingo froze there suddenly, he looked at the man who was as free as the wind... Mihawk, and the pirates who were pulling the trigger crazily and flirting with death.

At this moment, Doflamingo seemed to understand why he was upset.

Because of the compulsory recruitment as a Shichibukai, he felt very unpleasant, it was a feeling of not being free... To be honest, Doflamingo never advertised himself as a free pirate.

But if he asks himself what's wrong, he would say that he was really annoyed and irritated by it.

After a long time, Doflamingo said softly: "Hey, Mihawk, let's join forces here and make a big fuss...".
