Chapter 10: Territory II
It is already at night. Amelia thought about her ability to bring in living things into her space and remembered people are fond of meat. She decided to go into the villages again to steal some run on the ground food.
There are 5 large villages in these mountains when the virus broke out, the chickens and other animals mutated and became aggressive. The villagers didn't dare go after them but the truth is the animals whose body is not rotten like those zombies can be eaten. The problem is they might eat you before you get to get to eat them.
She first send her spirit power to check if there are other animals who didn't mutate. She found a few and took two of each gender.
Sheep, chicken, duck, pigs, and lastly cows. This happened to be from different villages and she took one from a single house. After a successful endeavour she went into space and created a small farm. Each of the animals are in a separate space. Finishing this bit of business she felt like she is ready to retire and became salted fish somewhere nice.
Amelia ran towards the road and soon the muddy figure got to the side of the main road.
After cleaning herself and looking at the changes in her space, she sighed in joy and then came out.
She went back by running first, no way she is staying inside a car. She had been in the mountain for a very long time.
Amy finally felt her feet getting tired as she approached the factory areas. It turns out she has been running for such a long time she has passed the rural villages, the whole sale place, and now she just went passed the factory area.
She is soon passing the residential area of the villas but is not planning on sleeping while being watched by cameras tonight. As the sun sat, she got into her space and fell asleep. Waking up not knowing she has slept for a day and a half. She cleaned herself and then continued running until she was looking at the route going to the city.
When entering the city she saw thousands of zombies. The place is spacious enough to accommodate them all. The city has many stores that she wants to rob before the power cut. She started at the underground basement storage of the largest supermarket.
She didn't even blink when she used her power to open a man size whole on a thick steel door and walked in. The food area with wheat, flour, rice maze meal, spaghetti, noodles...she packed everything and left the place clean. She moved on and found all sort of frozen food and took it all. The drink and necessities were not spared even clothes.
When she completely cleaned everything, she went to the next and the next. In one day this entire city warehouses became a husk with a hallowed out inside. The shops on the ground are left untouched for whoever is tuff enough to brave the storm for a better tomorrow.
She took a special trip to a single shop in order to loot cold weapons. She found it so easily because her beloved sister will come and sweep the place clean a few months from now.
She used a small opening too high for any other person to climb through. Inside the place it is quiet and dark but Amy will not be complacent.
She swept the place with her mental power and found a dying couple. Rushing in, she quickly gave them fasting pills. These must be the zombies that will cause a headache for the female lead in a few months.
Seeing the complexion coming back to their faces, she sighed and took out a load of dry meat, biscuits and water.
Thinking a bit more, she wrote a note of instructions and also left two liters of body refinement concoctions.
The two people will have enough food and water to eat for half a year and then they will be able to hunt zombies at that time.
Patting herself in the back, she did a good deed today. Saving lives is better than building a hundred story pagoda. Smiling lightly she went to the storage room and cleaned it out as well as the items in the front store display.
Of course Amy left the old couple a few daggers and long hunting knives to protect themselves.
The next stop is the two most important places. The police place and the hospital. She knows her dear sister will empty out these places on her way to get the mental fruit.
The hospital is in the east side of the city while the police station is in the opposite. She wants to finish all this and start with her base construction.
Hospital first. Weapons are not as important as the flue medicine. If she uses a highway she will take too long but the short cut is in a dark place. She ended up choosing to drive on the road.
As soon as the car made a sound. Zombies ran towards its with open mouths making roaring sounds.
"Eat."
"Eat."
"Eat."
Amy realized she can now hear the zombies. Perhaps it is because of how she is or it is because she now has astonishing mental power.
In truth, the abilities grow in accordance with the mental strength otherwise the user will not be able to use them at all. She will use the cultivation technique to raise spiritual energy and the mental power of her people but she also has plenty of body cultivation techniques as well.
She pushed a command to the zombies outside and like a parting wave, the zombies made way. The journey that seemed long and arduous turned into an hour trip. She parked further away from the hospital.
It is not a stretch to assume the place is crawling with zombies. The day is now over, Amy went to rest inside her space to replenish her mental power. In the morning she woke up early and began with her task.
This is one of the biggest hospitals in the world, able to accept tens of thousands of patients. There are doctors and nurses, not mention the administration staff. Her dear sister will have a very hard time here as well. As a villainess she is expecting the level to go up by a thousand.
She ran to the place and entered the hospital welcoming hall. She didn't dare use mental energy incase someone finds her. Seeing the place so deserted she felt incredulous. Where are the zombies? Isn't it said in the novel this hospital harbored a very powerful zombie that led armies and his nest is the hospital.
She can hear roaring but the ground floor welcoming hall Is silent. This could be a trap.
Even if the powerful zombie is not here yet, where are the less powerful ones? She decided to go take her loot and worry about it later. She went to read the map and sprinted for the pharmacy. She finally saw zombies on the staircase, and the subsequent floors there are zombies wondering around the hallway.
The electric power still works so the place can clearly be seen. They are bloodstains on the ground and the walls, now the blood has dried it's makes the place look ghastly. The main lights keep flickering making the gloomy place even more haunted.
Amy swallows and looks around in fear, who doesn't hate ghosts? She is busy looking around when a shadow looms over her.
She closed her mouth using her hand so she doesn't make a sound. She slowly turns around and saw a large man with rotten flesh, long nails that look to be made from metal. They are sharp and gleaming in the flickering light looking especially frightening.
The zombie is probably a metal power type. The power must be a lot for it to almost perceive her location but he can not see her unless she takes the initiative to attack. The man tilted his head to the side and looked around stiffly as if to inspect the place. Not finding anything he turned and disappeared.
This action of disappearing meant he has space power as well, the strength must have reached fourth level. However, that strong pressure he just released means that he is far more powerful than than.
Her own power has sored to the sixth level after she increased her mental strength. This zombie is very dangerous if it has the ability to slice with space blade and move a small distance away. The planting space is not so easy to get however, even if the person reaches a higher level, they will not get planting space as a guarantee.
Knowing what she is up against, Amy decided to continue with her goal. After she has looted the place bare, it is not too late to clean up this zombie. It is too close to her territory to be left alive. She saw a card on one of the zombies and took it stealthily. This is the 7th floor east wing just a small distance away from the pharmacy.
Amy opened the door and came face to face with a group of doctors and nurses who have been hiding inside the pharmacy.
Their expression horrified, cheeks sunken and eyes listless. They have had to stay inside the medical supply storage for days now, they have all been using the bins in the back to release themselves so the place smells really bad but it is also that cover that has concealed their scent from the zombies outside.
Seeing the door open and close but no one coming in, they looked at each other in confusion. They use hand gestures to communicate because they are smart people and are aware the things outside will hear and then discover them.
She doesn't know how to reveal herself to them without them freaking out and alert the zombie outside. She felt a headache but then she realized didn't she just come for the medicine? She doesn't have to involve these people in her plans. They will just drag her down.
She sent a command to her plant and a pink fog came out of her. She can now just put people to sleep without harming their minds. A few more weeks and her dear sister will come here and rescue them. She sighed thinking 'the job of the main character is never ending.' In a few seconds, the people in the storage room fell asleep.
She took everything. The different medications made up a large two rooms. There are also other materials such as cleaning materials and blood stain removal soap. She cleaned the place.
When she is done she took out sleeping mattresses, large boxes of biscuits and water. She then went around putting fasting pills in each of their mouths. Leaving blankets and floor carpets she knew the almost 300 people will make it till the time when she deals with the zombie.
She saw a few females sleeping next to the smelling bins because they have periods. This is so their blood doesn't call the zombie outside. She felt sorry and opened their mouths staffing the contraceptive pills.
She left a small note telling them the periods will cut and will not come for six months. Leaving several sets of changing clothes for women, she left.
This place is just one of the many storage places for the hospital but it is the closest to the main entry. The hospital is very large.
It was said in the novel it is one of the biggest hospitals in the country, what this hospital doesn't have will probably only be found in the foreign countries. Amy had a thoughtful expression, slowly her long forgotten ambition burned through the haze in her eyes.
This place doesn't just have the colossal building of the main hospital. There are many other buildings surrounding it. There are at least 9 more high rise buildings where the staff members stay and the many restaurants to cater for them. The place where students are allocated, those who come to study medicine. This place is perfect as a base!
The down side is the cleanup will take longer but the need for many other buildings will be reduced by a large margin. This cleanup may take months and by then, the heroine and her group of brain dead fans will be here. She must increase her power even further.
Looking ahead with a determined expression, she decided to go to the other storage places and make sure no one dies from hunger while being in a group so when they come back as a zombie they eat the remaining people.

more places like the one she had been. She searched using the map from before and found three more. She did the same as before, leaving food and sleeping materials in exchange for the medicine.
She had to go into her space after that to build more shelters to put the medicine inside. She didn't even let the shelves go which maintained a clean appearance when stored in space.
This also created many open spaces to place the sleeping materials for the survivors. After doing so much, the sun slowly sat and darkness descended. She didn't want to waste time but she still needs to rest after moving so many things into space.
Waking up in the morning and stretching her body lightly. In the immortality school, she was taught that to raise mental power, unless you get a special pill or an item to refine, the most known method is to raise the cultivation base.
Amy is feeling guilty because all she has been doing is looting these few days without doing any cultivation.
The mental fruit is eaten and she chose the most ripen one. She doesn't forget to plant the seeds afterwards.
The fruit didn't send her to sleep this time but she got a strong headache for a good few hours without even the ability to open her eyes.
She pushed through, as a cultivator in the place full of hostile entities she had to gain strength. Pain has been her companion for a long time.
When she got better she is in no condition to work, sitting cross legged and began cultivation. Amy cultivated the spirit qi able to pull it from the main world into her own space.
A while later she is recovered completely and ready to work. As soon as she came out a loud bang of noise sounded in the distance.
What is this situation? The army must be here to get the materials from the hospital. Shouldn't they be gone by now? If she remembers, the people have been waiting. They were supposed to have come for the civilians days ago, whatever happened?
They are the group of soldiers Amy in the novel joined to go back to her family with, as well as a small group of friends. Her dear sister must be waiting for her to come at this time.
The network stopped working in the last few days but she doesn't know this because she had dropped that device in her space with all her belongings from the hotel.
The Army will play distraction for her while she takes away all the medicine they came for. The zombies started roaring and moving out towards the army trucks and cars.
Many jumped down from the high windows and ran to the location where that enticing smell of human blood is coming from. The army saw the numbers and made a decisive decision to turn around.
This is probably why the novel stated that, all the equipment in the hospital in intact when the heroine came with her group. There are tens of thousands of zombies in this place, anyone without the protagonist halo will die without a corpse.
Amy sneered thinking up to here, she had cultivated to a spirit form level called the nascent soul, challenging the heavens is not something new to her.
At the very least those people gave her time to loot four more storage places and kill all the zombies in the same floor. She felt very complicated, in this one day she has saved no less than 1200 human lives.
The other storage places had even more people. Now she has to go to the basement where there might be even more zombies from the morgue. Not to mention this place is very large.
In the next couple of weeks she killed zombies, rescued humans and looted medicine. This place has 46 floors and each floor has tens of wars. How in the 9 hell's can anyone manage this place?
She didn't bother cleaning the corpse because there is a deadline to be met. In 8 days she cleared the upper 20 floor and when she was about to continue, the snake woke up from meditation or is it hibernation?
She quickly went inside the space. "Look who woke up?"
"I wasn't sleeping, human." The snake grumbled.
"I need your help outside. Chop chop..." Amelia made a clapping sound.
"Is that what I am now? A slave?"
"Whatever make you happy. Come on before my annoying elder sister comes and make my hard work turn into another one of her exploits."
"A sister? Is she as insufferable as you?"
"Worse, she is the darling of the world."
"A darling Eh? I doubt that."
"Come and send your mental power to all the zombies in this floor. Try to make them run a way. I will clean up the remaining ones myself. "
"Sure, sure."
"Don't think about using them to attack me. You will get a backlash from the bond."
The snake kept silent. They worked together in the 20 lower floors, reducing the number of days from 8 to two days. The snake is annoyed beyond imagination at this point.

"Fine. But the more time I spend cleaning up these zombies the further away your immortality elixir is from reaching you." She hopes to make the snake nervous so it will continue helping.
"I am over a century years old, I can wait a bit longer." The reptile Sneered as if it can see through her plans. Helpless, she complied with its request and put it in its cave.
She took deep breaths and walked down the staircase. The nigh or dat is not going to save her this time because this place is very dark. She finally used her spiritual force to check her surrounding. The spiritual force is not as vulnerable as the mental ability.
The important thing is that she can also send out her ability using the spiritual force as of last night. The last time she meditated she is able to breakthrough to the sixth level in her supernatural power. Now, she is at 5 qi condensation stage and seventh level in the supernatural ability.
Her requirement for spiritual power is four times that of normal people.

She found many zombies in the dark place of the first lower ground. Four hundred wondering zombies, she killed them with a space blade cutting their heads quietly. Only the sound of heads dropping to the ground can be heard in the quiet corridor.
Three zombies looked her direction frightening her on the spot. They rushed to her location together with hands raised and claws out. Amy cut their heads after locking space around them. In the fourth level of space supernatural ability, the user can use space blade. Although the length and distance it can be applied to is pitiful, It's still an awesome ability.
In the fifth level, the size, distance and control of the space blade will increase. Depending on the talent, a single space user can cut down an entire army if the control is mastered to perfection. The blade can also be used as a shield, the size will depend on the level of talent.
Sixth level allows a person to manipulate space at a small distance. Again, it depends on the quality of the talent. Some may travel longer distances even at level six.
Seventh stage, the user can lock space, travel longer distances as long as they have been to that location before. The distance will depend on how much power the space user has in his disposal at that time.
The distance is not as large as traveling the world though.
The three zombies died just like that. She continued and went to check the morgue. Entering, the chill of the place is overwhelming, it must be the dangerous feeling this place gives her.
There are loud sounds coming from the closed shelves which means the corpse inside had died not long after the virus hit the world. In the eight to night level, the space power user can enter closed places. She would just sent her power into the shelves and stab them in the forehead.
However right now she needs to open the shelves and kill them in person because she is still in the seventh le. She stood far away from the doors and used mental power to open all the doors. Many zombies crawled out while others jumped out. When they all came outside she proceeded to slaughter them all.
A previously noisy place suddenly became silent. The big boss will surely come for her this time. She stayed in the morgue to wait for the zombie but the guy didn't come.
Amy didn't want to be held up here for too long so she went to the rest of the floor killing all the zombies she came across. The building lower floors are are wider than the upper floors. To clean the entire floor took an entire day. There are six lower floors so she opted to use the night as well.
The time frame is too close so many talented zombies are still in second level. This made things easier for the early bird called Amelia. The next morning the place is littered with zombie copse and they are without crystal nuclei, her vines are very useful to this regard. She is about to move on when an overbearing presence bore down on her.
This pressure is mental strength. The zombie also has mental strength so strong? Can she give up this location? Amy cried internally. If this is not killing her then what is? Should she ask the dog author for a villainess halo? This is too much ah!
The zombie looked at her but did not make a move. Seeing him like this, Amy knew he doesn't need to make un necessary movements as a space power user herself, the confidence to kill people without moving, she also has it.
