Chapter 56: The Royal Invitation
The Jiangkang base became a reclusive place where only those belonging inside are able to enter. The several spies were un able to enter and assess the situation only those who were already inside were able to report back.
What surprised Qing Ze is the rapid technological development in this base. He wanted to know who is responsible for all these. However, infiltrating the Jiangkang base is now as difficult as ascending to the heavens.
It has been 28 months since Amelia went into seclusion. In a high mountain covered in snow even as winter has long ended, a thick cloud gathered above the mountain until it became a thick black cloud with distant sounds of crackling thunder.
A woman sat quietly under the brewing storm with a calm face. There is a powerful formation around her that is giving her the confidence to take on the heavens. The first thick lightning hit towards the woman's head.
The lightning is diverted by the formation and sucked towards a specific direction where several empty energy slips are waiting to be charged. Amelia used Zhu Lan's idea of converting used energy stonesinto rechargeable energy slips and connected them to a formation that will fill them up with the heavenly lightning.
Energy is useful and there are very few sources of such pure energy as the concentrated yang energy in the heavenly lightning.
One of these can power three cities the size of Jiangkang base for a dacade after the volatile nature of lightning has been purified. She felt like a very clever person after she thought of this method. Not to mention there is a space formation inside each energy slip so a lot of lightning will be stored without any problems if all goes well.
The powerful purple lightning hit 99 times and the last 10 really forced Amelia into a sorry state but she managed to pull through and successfully built her foundation establishment realm. She took back about hundreds of energy slips but found she couldn't put them inside her space. She used the space ring while wondering if her space will give her a surprise later.
When she is finished and is thinking of changing clothes, her abilities become agitated. It looks like she has access to her sea of consciousness. This means Amelia is ready to condense her essence qi drops and unlocking her potential.

The crystal nuclei shattered and she found the fragments in her sea of consciousness. They transformed into a drops of essence qi which encompasses her power and abilities. The condensation process began, the more drops she condenses the more power she amassed. Time went by quietly as the mountain retained its tranquility.
Each drop has the essence of her power, when there is enough essence liquid she will be baptized in it when she is about to achieve a spirit body. This will allow her to fight in space without wearing a space suit.
This can only be achieved when she has condensed enough essence liquid regardless of the superficial level she achieves. even if she reaches level 20, as long as she hasn't condensed enough essence liquid she will not have a spirit body.
Amelia's drops are from a mutated nuclei core so her power is considerable. Her abilities are steadily increasing in both quality and quantity.

The committee was established to ensure problems are solved before they turn into more complicated issues. However, there is an intelligent unit responsible for gathering intelligence from inside the base to the outside world but only a few people in this room have clearance to such information.
"What's the worse that could happen?" A man representing ordinary base members asked puzzled.
"The Qin family succeeds in establishing order and we establish ourselves as their enemy." Old Mo said dejectedly.
"If I may, what is the problem?" Qin Ai asked still not clear about the reason behind this tension.
"The Qin family is planning of making things hard for our Jiangkang base even going as far as to kill people. Those are the orders of the old man Qin to all the people of the Qin family." Old man Mo explained.
"So that's it. Now I understand." Qin Ai said, "If leader were here, what would she do?" He asked.
"She would go in the most high profile manner and kill anyone who tries to scheme against her." Bo the wind king said without much hesitation.
"Then we go. Call back Blake and have him as backup." Li Jie eyes shone with determination. He will not forget the last time they cowered and let the enemy go, the disappointed their leader felt that day.
"Are you sure about this plan?" The business man asked with uncertainty.
"I am sure, leader is not someone who provokes people unnecessarily but she is not someone who is afraid of trouble. If they just want to make things difficult for us it will be fine. However, if they try to kill, we will wash that place with rivers of blood." Li Jie said and his blood lust got released from his body suffocating the people nearest to him.
"City lord, please restrain yourself there are old and young people here." Old Mo shouted while coughing non stop. Withdrawing his blood lust, Li Jie showed a sheepish expression.
"Hahaha.., then it's settled. We will go and massacre all who tries anything funny." Yue the space king laughed heartily.

"The leader had said the place is here." Zhu Li said taking out her map and pointing at a spot. Her brother grumbled and went along. The group of body guards went in front to check the danger.
They spent a few hours and finally found an underground lab joint with an army base. Instead of regular weapons there are three space ships and a single unfinished warship.
The entire place is filled with a terrible stench all the people inside died and there were no survivors. Multiple cleaning robots were dispatched and then Zhu Li and Zhu Lan began to recover data from the systems and compiled new designs taking into account the information from alien technology. This is going to be one of the most crucial projects that the twins have ever started.
Zhu Li called old Mo into a conference and reported the situation. Upon knowing they will soon have space ships, the old man didn't object and even encouraged them to speak if there is anything they need. He told them to keep an account of how much they used so they can be paid if it is from their own personal resources.
Just like that, the twins spent their following months developing an indestructible space ship. At least according to their current available resources. A year before, Jiangkang base had to put up a second barrier which covered a larger area than the previous one. The peculiar thing is that it is still with in the South east region of the country.
This is because the world is now three times its initial size. The earth is also harder and the resources have also become plentiful and in different variety. The twins have not gotten through half the new types of minerals found during these couple of months.
The extra external space is a virgin forest and have been classified as a forbidden zone. The problem is that to leave the base, one needs to go through the forest which is why a teleportation station was put where gates used to be, otherwise the Jiangkang base people will be stuck and unable leave.
This did not only happen to the hospital base but all over the world. The places where humans are frequent became surrounded because everywhere else began to mutate and the wild life strived. As the results, beast hordes have became the norm in the last couple of days.
The several small and large bases suffered one by one. The city lords of various districts in the Jiangkang base took this time to rescue several people from the fallen bases increasing the population of the South east region significantly. There is a task for teams to venture into the forests and hunt animals inside to control population. Only those powerful enough can venture into the new virgin forest.
The base settled into a routine like this. Farmers pay tax and sell their products to bases outside the city using the online channels and haver transportation depending on what each can afford.
The residents have jobs with in the base to pay for accommodation and living expenses. Children go to attend normal schools and those with special talents can joint the various departments. The base medical system is not well developed as they lack talent but Zhu Li had developed various medical equipment and their corresponding manuals.
However, the medical staff had to go through training to be able to use this highly advanced medical equipment and this process took a long time with only a few people passing the basics. The good thing is that the base has medicine for most common diseases so the doctors and nurses can take their time learning.

In the mountains there is a large structure built with materials that blends with the surroundings. If a person is not specifically looking they wouldn't be able to find it. The previously shut gates of the Yamamoto league of assassins is wide open with slashes of blood on them.
The Japanese organization in the mountain had hallowed out the entire mountain and build a structure to facilitate their activities. Qing Xuan new they would probably choose to commit suicide than follow him and betray their eternal vows.
He has captured a few and had them distribute his blood in the water system of the entire facility turning hundreds of thousands into his eternal servants. However upon arrival instead of getting a warm welcome like he had anticipated he was met with hostility.
He had to commit a massacre killing nearly a third of his army. The strong will horned through harsh training and vigorous brainwashing of the organization allowed the the entirety of the army to resist him to the bitter end. It became worse when thousands of level 7 to level 9 came out of seclusion and fought his blood slaves to the bitter end.
The group of people who had been normal citizens three years ago were cut down as if they had no resistance at all. Qing Xuan used his superior speed and his recently acquired blood manipulation ability at control the movements of several people before forcefully feeding the his blood that is closer to his heart when he was ruthlessly stabbed in the chest.
The many people passed out and when they woke up they were loyal to him. After he subdued the old powerful group he used them to incapacitate the rest but many ran away while others committed suicide. The previous numbers were almost a million but now they are barely six hundred thousand strong.
This massive force this comparable to the Qin family. After ensuring each and everyone of the shadows are under his complete control, he went back home taking his army with him. From this day onwards, the North region belonged exclusively to the man named Qing Xuan. This would have been a monumental achievement had other world leaders found out about it.
Qing Xuan had fallen in love with the structure of the league back in Japan and decided to replicate it on several mountains in the North using the regular base members turning them into trained assassins. This is the beginning of a terrifying force that will be able to dominate the world if they chose to in the future.
Qing Xuan wanted to have as many people as possible after encountering Amelia in the central base and feeling the immense difference between them. If there is one Amelia then there is definitely another one and then several more people who are possibly more powerful than himself.
After losing so many of the shadows in the war he is heartbroken and demanded the leaders train the next batch as soon as possible. He is a special specimen in the eyes of humans, until now he still get dreams about his stay in the lab. He will not allow himself to be captured and experimented on like before.
He wants to surround himself with the largest deadliest army in the world. No one will be able to get to him and if they try, not even their bones will be spared. Even someone the likes of Amelia will pay a considerable price to get to him now.
The training and construction took place simultaneously with common people working night and day without complains and with smiles on their faces. Even when someone died from exhaustion and over work, their families would calmy bury them and continue with their assignments. This is the power of slavery in the highest order.
